Few people in the OP verse are truly normal-looking. I'm sure he'll get more that a few sideways glances, but it won't be a big deal.

QFT. Brook might stand out from the rest of the crew for being a super tall, pervert skeleton with an afro, but Chopper and Franky are pretty weird too, you know? Other than the initial reaction to his being il morti viventi, I don't think that his presence will pose too much of a problem.

Even if everyone they encounter doesn't assume he's wearing a mask, I doubt it'll be a big deal. I mean this is the Grand Line where talking about, crazy things are normal there.
