Did Robin just call Nami by her name? I thought it was supposed to be "Miss Navigator" :headscrat

Whatever, I'll just blame it on the lip flaps.

Paramethia? I figured they would fix that dumb 4kids error. ;o

Oh, well. There's still the Uncut DVDs.

I didn't watch the subs for this arc. Was Wiper called "Wyler" there too or is this a dub thing? :sag

I really enjoy the dub, but at the same time I just don't get some of the changes. Some of the changes make perfect sense to me, such as referring to Enel's title as "King" instead of "God" and changing the four "Priests" to the four "Knights", but why change Wiper's name to "Wyler"? Or the Shandian's to "Loftians", for that matter. Huh. Hopefully the original names will be kept for the DVD releases.

Also, is it me or is the English Robin a real bitch? Ah, I can't complain because it cracks me up something fierce. :laugh

As for the dub itself, as I said I really do enjoy it. The dub for the episode was pretty good and there were moments that truly made me laugh out loud, like when Robin totally got a dig in on Nami with the "greed issues" line, when Zoro was yelling at Chopper ("Nami's scared and I'm tired!"), or when Luffy and Usopp kept the reference to Sanji's image song ("Take my hand, honey!"). Tonight's episode was really well written all 'round, methinks, with a lot of funny quotes, and there was even a reference to Zoro's real name! Huzzah.

Unless I'm remembering it all wrong, it's definitely a dub thing.

Meh, a little, but what woman isn't right :laugh

Aside from that though, I think she sounds really sexy :drool

Heh, I know that I can be one with little provocation. I don't know about all women, though. Still, I kinda like how the English version of Robin has a little bite to her, if for no other reason than because it'll probably make her performance at Water 7/Enies Lobby all the more hurtful for the rest. Plus, it's exponentially better than the stupid "Southern Belle" accent that 4Kids saddled her with.

Oh Dub Robin's voice is lovely in my opinion. Definitely prefer that over the shit 4kids had coming out of her mouth.

I didn't notice all the changes like the "Paramethia" bit or "Loftians" but then again I was busy while I had the episode on. :sag

I do agree with Jinjue in that the episode was nicely written.

Wiper is called Wyler because Funi has to use some 4KIDS continuinity as demanded by CN.

Usopp refers to Zolo as Zoro in one scene! :D

But 4Kids never got as far as Jaya/Skypiea...oh wait. The games. Damn 4Kids. Damn them all to hell forever.

It happened, though it was played off as a slip of the tongue. It's in the sequence where Luffy, Usopp and Sanji are on the Milky Road after we see the Shandians attacking the remaining three Priests, nearly halfway through the episode. Here's the line:

Usopp: We've got zero, and I mean Zolo, no, I mean Zoro chances...no, no! Zero! I wonder how Zolo's doing...
