Well, it's really all a matter of personal taste. Some of the movies I really didn't like at all turned out to be another person's favourite, and vice versa. Still, I'll go ahead and give you my mostly-spoiler free opinions on each film, in order of production. :amuse
1. One Piece: The Movie. My least favourite out of the entire lot. It felt more like a really long filler episode or a television special; just some bit of randomness that could fit in between the OAV and the second film. It wasn't bad, from what I remember of it, but I've never felt like watching it more than twice – once raw, once with subtitles – so I don't really trust my memory on this one much to begin with.
2. Nejimaki Shima no Bouken. One of the better films, I think, though the animation quality is a bit odd in that it makes it look rather flat and somewhat older than it actually is. It's also the first film that actually feels like a film, at least to me. It's got a decent story and some interesting fight sequences, during the latter of which Usopp steps up and Sanji straight up pwns. The humour is pretty good too, particularly when it comes to the villains, so the film is a lot of fun to watch. As another upside, the filler kid isn't quite as annoying as usual, I thought. It's not the best one and it shows its age a bit, but I think it's pretty fun and definitely worth a watch.
3. Chinjuu-tou no Chopper-oukoku. This one is Chopper-centric and I thought it was kind of meh, really. It really seemed to exaggerate the characters' faults; Luffy was extraordinarily stupid, Zoro was even more competitive than usual, Nami was such a treasure grubber, Usopp and Chopper both were super cowardly and Sanji was as vain as a princess. It had some genuinely funny moments and some decent animation for the fight sequences, but the story was less than good and the filler characters were pure ass. Mobambi seriously needs to die. Like, seriously.
4. Dead End no Bouken. Now this, this was the film that Funimation should have released in cinemas first. This one is grand; a fully feature length, movie quality, stand alone story with awesome music, gorgeous animation, fun characterisation, a great plot, surprisingly decent filler characters and a real sense of piracy and adventure throughout. It isn't my favourite but it comes in at a close second, so I cannot recommend it enough. All I can say is that you need to watch it, as I can all but guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
5. Norowareta Seiken. Another character-centric film, but this time with Zoro. I really didn't care for this one because I felt like it was something of a slap to the face in terms of characterisation and the basic theme of 'nakama' that the Strawhats usually revel in. Zoro really got played up in this one, which is normally awesome because Zoro rules, but I think it came at the expense of the rest of the crew so it left me feeling sour. The animation was okay and the scenery was very bright and pretty, but the story and filler characters were bleh. If there was any humour I don't remember much of it because I was too irritated by the progression of the story to pay attention to anything else.
6. Omatsuri Danshaku to Himitsu no Shima. This is, bar none, my personal favourite. However, I've noticed that it's also one that people either love or hate. Because it was directed by the guy that did the Digimon movies it doesn't look like any of the other films and the art direction is really minimalist and somewhat flat and washed out, which I think suited the film's umbral tone very well. But the plot, oh, the plot! The sheer intensity of the feeling of nakama-ship in this one totally made up for the sour feeling I got from movie five. It's also easily the darkest of all of the films; it starts out fun and light-hearted but the plot gets seriously twisted, the main villain is genuinely tragic yet completely vile, and the climax is like something out of a Lovecraftian nightmare. Even some of my friends that aren't into One Piece like this one just because it's (relatively) so fucked up. So I think that it's definitely worth watching to see for yourself, even if you do end up falling on the "hate it" side of the fence.
7. Karakuri-jou no Mecha Kyouhei. If you like big bouncing boobies, you'll probably like this film. If you don't, you'll probably end up getting distracted by the aforementioned big bouncing boobies. This one is really fanservice-y, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they wasted a good chunk of the budget on Nami's boobs alone. The story and filler characters are okay, but the villainous scheme was pretty stupid, I thought. I also thought that the mecha theme was really anachronistic and out of place in what is supposed to be a relatively primitive world. The animation was okay, with some decent parts and some bad parts, but the fights were decent. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are pretty destructive in this one, and work fairly well as a team. It totally spoiled Luffy's Enies Lobby power up though, which sucked the fat one.
8. Episode of Arabasta: Sabaku no Oujo to Kaizoku-tachi. You've already seen this one, so no comment.
9. Episode of Chopper + Fuyu ni Saku, Kiseki no Sakura. Just came out like, yesterday or something, so I haven't seen it. Again, no comment, but from what I've seen of the trailer I can already say that I'm biased against it.

Well finished 5 and 6 now. The fifth movie was meh, I like Zoro's friend somewhat, I think that this one had a lot of potential to be good, but wasted it showing Usopp and Luffy running around for like 20 minutes. Also that whole "the sword and Saga are one" bit was kind of stupid, he should have just kept fighting with the sword.
The sixth movie was....wow....holy shit....AMAZING! The action, the animation, the characters, the voice acting (this movie reminded me that Luffy's seiyu is fucking amazing) just everything was awesome. I also loved the designs for the characters, I loved how they drew Usopp's hair in this one, but everyone just looked incredibly cool. I also think that this was a nice glimpse into how Luffy would react to losing a Nakama forever. Seriously this movie was tha ballz.
Well now it's time for Boobie 7 and Movie 8. Gonna hopefully DL and watch em tonight.
Pretty much! It had some – very few, practically no – okay moments but man, did it suck. :lmao
Yeah the only thing I liked in the movie was Zoro and Sanji giving each other props after defeating there opponents. I thought it was really cool and I chuckled at the thought that they would probably never let the other person know how they felt :lmao

So far my fav has to be movie 6. I liked the diff animation they used, as stated very minimalist but at the same time felt kind of "other wordly" to me. Would prob be even more interesting to watch while under the influence of certain things, but i wont elaborate on that :amuse The last part of it, the way luffy nearly lost everybody else was VERY well done, i think.

Agreed. I really didn't like that one.
The sixth movie was....wow....holy shit....AMAZING! [...] Seriously this movie was tha ballz.
Also agreed; movie six was so very, very amazing in every way that counted. Plus, it had Iron Chef Sanji and I have nothing but love for Iron Chef Sanji. I also agree that Usopp's design in movie six was awesome; he was totally rockin' the Rasta look and it so worked for him. Chopper was really, really cutely drawn in it as well, I think, and I love how elegant Robin was animated.
Have you ever seen the "Kaizoku no Bouken 2" AMV by Istiv Studio? It's a movie six AMV and it's awesome as well. For those who haven't seen movie six yet, be warned; it's somewhat spoilerish.

Yeah the only thing I liked in the movie was Zoro and Sanji giving each other props after defeating there opponents.
That was pretty much the only thing I liked as well, though I did think that the fight sequences prior to those grudging admissions were a bit of alright. Not great, but alright. The rest of the movie was pretty ass though and Mobambi is, by far, my most hated filler character ever. Big time.

Just watched it, the video was cool, but I am very picky about music heh, it has to really blow my mind for me to overlook the music.

That's what I've heard, me and my girlfriend want to see those bouncing bewbs in Boobie 7 though. We have seen clips and found them quite hypnotizing, it should be funny enough in unintentional ways that I won't outright hate it. As for the 8th movie I don't have very high expectations (they are cramming sooo much into a movie) so I will probably enjoy it.

I pretty much knew what to expect from movie 8, as its a shortened version of the alabasta arc. They really trimmed down the funniest episode in that arc (the pirates banquet) to what.. 5, 6 mins? Though they seemed to think that giving us a slightly more revealing view of bonclay's nami transformation made up for it. Meh.
I'll be saving it, just for the sake of having it as part of my Op collection, but i enjoyed the complete arc better then the slimmed down movie version :amuse

Well watched movie 7, and I don't think it was as bad as people made it out to be. Yes Nami's boobs having there own sound effects is kind of funny in a bad way. But other then that this movie was probably the funniest of all the movies so far. But I could see not liking it if i watched it when it first came out and I didn't read the manga because it has Gear 2nd spoilers. But I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, gonna watch movie 8 tonight hopefully, will post what I think.

I agree with you there, about the music that is. I liked the editing and effects enough to get past that aspect of it, though, but that's just me.
Yeah Mobambi was a tool. I wasn't a fan of the fights at all really, they just seemed so generic.
Oh, don't get me wrong. I agree with you there as well. It's just that the movie was so completely ass that even a halfway decently animated yet wholly generic fight scene felt like a highlight. Still, as bad as it was I'd honestly take movie three over movie five, but again that's just me. :lmao
I'll be saving it, just for the sake of having it as part of my Op collection, but i enjoyed the complete arc better then the slimmed down movie version :amuse
Indeed, the eighth movie was a huge let down. I still cannot believe they didn't use the awesomely epic Dvořák music for the big Luffy vs Crocodile showdown, though. Perhaps they couldn't get permission to use it in the film? They also cut out all of Mr. Prince, and he was easily one of my favourite parts of the arc. In all, it was a disappointment. However, from what I've seen of the trailers movie nine actually looks worse. meh.
Well watched movie 7, and I don't think it was as bad as people made it out to be.
Movie seven isn't that bad, I agree, though the fanservice is distracting, albeit somewhat unintentionally hilarious. It wasn't the best, but it's far from being the worst on many levels and I do enjoy watching it from time to time. I just like six and four much, much better. :amuse

Well watched movie 8 and I was incredibly disappointed despite having low expectations. I had accepted the fact that they would have to cut back greatly on the scenes. But to cut back so much that the movie lost any kind of continuity or pacing was just a bad choice. That said though it was fun to see old characters back and it does make me wanna watch the Alabasta arc again (oh how many people I would've killed to see the "Okama Way" scene in movie quality....I would also have killed many more to see the beauty of the marines: Hina-chwaaaaan~). So it wasn't the worst, anyways here's my list (best to worst):

I agree, and not just because they were so in your face and distracting. All hyperbole aside, I still stand by my theory that a fair chunk of the animation budget was spent on Nami's boobs alone.
Well watched movie 8 and I was incredibly disappointed despite having low expectations.
Indeed. It's worth watching once more just to see the English dub though, because aside from a few nitpicks the English dub was awesome. If nothing else, it'll definitely give you a taste of what the unedited television episodes may sound like.
Lastly I think I'm going to refuse to watch movie 9.
I'll watch it because I haven't missed a film yet, and it cannot possibly be worse than movies three, five and one. Or at least that's what I'm hoping. I don't like the idea of all of the random Lucas-esque changes either, but after reading Greg's review of it on Arlong Park I'm not quite so apprehensive about seeing it. Apparently it looks great; according to his review the animation is similar to movie six and everything, including the story and additions, was really well done. So perhaps it won't be the disappointment that I was originally expecting after seeing the trailer after all. Or, again, that's at least what I'm hoping.

Links to torrents for the first seven films are all available on the first page of this thread. Movie eight is currently available on DVD from Funimation. Movie nine was only just recently released and is still playing in Japanese cinemas. Movie ten won't come out until 2009.
K-F has movies 1-6, they are the best subs IMO.

They also have a decent amount of seeds considering how old the movies are.
Also, ADC-Elites (http://www.adc-heaven.com/test/index.php?p=news) subbed movie seven, though I don't know if it's being seeded right now or not. The link to the torrent is here (http://bt.edwardk.info/groups/adc/%5BADC-Elites%5D_One_Piece_Movie_07_%5B5FDEF932%5D.avi.to rrent).

You're welcome. :)
And in case anyone was curious, here's the full extended trailer for movie nine. I have to admit that although I'm not ultra-excited for it like I am with the movie ten teaser, the extended trailer for movie nine is way better than the teasers I had originally seen. Perhaps it will be worthwhile after all.

I didn't like movie eight either, but it's still better than movies three, five and one, in my opinion. :amuse

I've seen movies 1-6 and I've got to agree with the general consensus that 2,4, and especially 6 are the good ones. I didn't dislike 5 as much as a lot of people in here seem too, but it can't compete with those 3. Now I just gotta download 7, avoid 8, and download 9 later.

The fact that they redid alabasta as a movie killed it. Seems they were just too lazy ass to think of another one.
But personally movie 6 was the only good one. OP sucks at making movies, although the 10th movie sounds promising.

I can tell seeing how you took the Movie 6 Luffy look and turned it into an avatar and sig (looks good btw, reps)
My favorites are 2 4 and 6 like most others, but the order I'm not too sure about because I love them for different reasons.
Movie 6 was very dramatic and serious, not too much noticable action but I is probably my favorite.
I like how Movie 2 handicaped all of the strawhats and then let them kick ass later. The way they all had their fight reminded me of an acual arc (And the fights were pretty good seeing how short they were.)
Movie 4, great story, Shuriya (sp?) was one of my favorite OP characters after that movie (Too bad he will never return :cry ) But not much action for the others. Very piraty though which was nice.

I just watched the Alabasta movie dubbed by Funimation. It was pretty much a well-animated summary of the Alabasta arc, but you had to have background knowledge of the arc-only characters and their DF powers to really get it.
First OP movie I've seen, believe it or not.

oh yes he did~! he got squisshed, it activated gear, he's like, "wtf?" and thats how he first found out about gear~!
well, yea, the movies don't pertain to the real plot, like, at all, but it's still neat to show how he could have found it.

K, I just saw movies 2, 4, 6 and 7. All I have to say is that movies 4 and 6 ... wow. They were pretty awesome. I've took a particular liking to movie 6 (as you can see, lol). Movies 2 and 7 were kinda 'meh'. I think 7 would've been better had they finished it properly. I saw the trailer for it first and it contained some scenes which seemed awesome, but weren't in the final cut. I read that it was mainly due to time restraints. So, heres my personal order:
6
4
7
2
I'm thinking of getting Movie 8 on DVD when it eventually comes out in Australia.

definitely.
7 was better than 6 too.
And 7 was supposed to explain how he learned gear 2, but since its not cannon, you can use it to explain how he gets it in the manga regardless. Remember when he got squished between to buildings for over a week on water 7. But he still broke out. I'm pretty sure that'd explain how he realized compressing the rubber would allow him to harness greater speed and power.
Then compressing it again would allow him to harden certain peices and expand other's more indefinitely. But when his stamna wears out to reform he'd pop back into a super tiny size.

I thought Luffy was only stuck in there for a few hours.
I suppose that explains how he magically healed though.

Am I the only one who feels neutral about movie 6? I liked the animation and all, but I sorta felt "meh" about Luffy getting his ass handed to him and then some freak old guy saving the day instead..
I personally like movie 4 the best. :]
I can't wait for movie 10 though...that looks promising.

Oh, I do like big bouncing boobies, but none of the clips of 7 I saw had them :cry
6 was very good, yeah, 2 wasn't bad (though while watching the animation, it felt reeeealy old) , 3 , well, Butler freaked me out in this one scene : He's playing th violin while his two cronies cut and massacre a whole array of animals and throw em in the water . Kinda brutal . Plus, the guy ate HORNS with ketchup and mustard, so he was kinda like an Oda villian .
I man, look at em!

The best thing about One Piece movies is the fact that their atmosphere fits into the One Piece Universe. Every single one of them, actually.
When you look at them, you go "Yeah, something like that could happen to them, Oda could make chopper the king of animals on some island".
Compared to Dragonball Z movies, which are just "HNGRNN MY POWER LEVEL IS HIGHER THAN YOURS SON GOKU", the don't feel so unnecessary. Maybe that's why movie 12 is probably the best. Like the last arc, it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Movie 6 is such a good movie that it could stand on it's own. I ignore it's seriousness here.
I always thought that the movie 10 trailer looked too depressing.... then I saw who's writing it.
It will be good.

Alright, watched movie 5 again and have to change my opinion. The mythology(and the fact that it was supposed to be real) really felt out of place. It didn't help that they presented the villain as someone that could take over the world when a guy like Zoro can beat him.
Sure, they did something comparable with movie 7 but that movie didn't take itself seriously.
