At the dawn of a Third World War, three nations are preparing for a battle of communications. Fighting for the Russians is the elite superhuman squad known as the BEARS. For China is the assassin Hao Long and for the United States a deadly agent known as CAT. Those who enjoyed Samura Hiroaki's Blade of the Immortal, will definitely enjoy this. The art style is eerily similar.

The manhuajia is from Hong Kong, but the series is published by Tong Li, a Taiwanese company (that also publishes The Ravages of Time).

Well, as of August last year he's been active enough to post some things on his DeviantArt account.

I hope that it's still being serialized in a magazine and that the only reason that volumes haven't been coming out since 2003 is some stupid internal dispute. I know that sometimes happens with manga. The Saiyuki Gaiden manga took years to come out due to some legal issues with the magazine that published it.

Regardless, I'm glad a new scanlated chapter come out today. It seems like all the manga I love are the ones that get released so slowly. I kind of wish I could find the raws online. I really want to see what happens next even if I don't have the translation. I found a scan of a panel of Cat in a maid outfit and I'm dying to know how that came about. :amuse

Looking at the last page (http://www.onemanga.com/CAT/17/24/)... It sounds as if the author has started/is starting a new manghua. This is a little confusing since one of the pages says "end of part one". Is the new manhua the "part two" of the series?

Few months ago someone recommended me this manga. I noticed it's on hiatus and thought to myself that there is no way that I am reading that. But I decided to see few random pages just to see the art. Two random pages were all it took, I just had to read this thing. The art is so similar to one of Hiroaki Samura it's almost scary.
