Maybe it's just the scan, but I think that it should have been darker for Nightmare Luffy. It just doesn't look as badass when he's colored baby blue.

Yeah, I agree, Moria looks much better in color. He looks a lot more vampiric, and that's not exactly the worst thing to look like since vampires are cool. Also, that's a lot of people on one cover. Is this a record for the volumes, or is there one with more?

i think the presence of Lola, who would appear on the surface as a very minor character, right up at the top next to the shichibukias and luffy himself, portends well for her mom being a yonkou

Luffy looks like a blue super saiyan hulk. Most badass thing ever. That along with the strawhat super robot makes this volume cover ooze win. Kuma looking like a BAMF doesn't hurt either.

That's a good looking cover, as was to be expected, though I wouldn't put it up there among my favourites, personally. I do think that the super sentai style Pirate Docking Six: Giant Robot Warrior! attack never stops being funny, but, and I'm glad to see it on the cover. I also didn't expect that Nightmare Luffy was light blue, though it does fit the zombie motif somewhat.

Also, that's a lot of people on one cover. Is this a record for the volumes, or is there one with more?
I just did a quick check, and I'm pretty sure that's the most for any single cover. w00t, a record!
