PS2 : Slide card and swap disk

For one I don't know if this should go in the gaming department, or the technicle, but for anyone that have these to play their imports, i want to know if the slide card can damage the ps2. It looks like you kind of have to force the disk tray open.

I've usd it for a while now and it works fine.
