The sole female on the "fervent" Team Gai. Tenten, who acts as a training opponent for Neji and Lee, has pride in attacking with her magnificent weapons. Her real power is being recognized by her two teammates, but she sometimes shows a carefree smiling face, though she has what may be the greatest and strongest weapons arsenal.

Tenten's aim is to become a strong ninja like the "Legendary Kunoichi", Tsunade. As the legendary Tsunade has become the Fifth Hokage, her daily training has become more fervent than ever before!

OOoh, a new Tenten FC...must be in this one. And materix, co-owning this one better not affect the Korean FC!!! Just kidding, that FC of ours has nothing to manage at the moment :smile-big .

What made me like Tenten? Well, to start things off, she generally looks really kawaii in the manga. much more so than in the anime. Weapons don't get that much attention in Naruto (mostly different jutsu and physical abilities), and having a weapons specialist is really cool in my opinion. Also, Tenten manages to be really cute without resorting to the primping Sasuke-kun fangirlness that Ino, Sakura, and Co. often do. Come to think of it, I like everyone on that team with the exception of Gai; I like the Rock-lee version of Konoha's Green beast far better!

Well, unlike the other female Shinobis I think Tenten is very observant, and I really liked hearing her thoughts under the chuunin exam, during Naruto and Nejis fight, from that alone it is clear that she is smart, and talented, unfortunately she has chosen to specialize in use of weapons, let's hope she'll reveal some awesome powers.

Hahaha... never thought of that one before :amuse But yes, I think that Tenten is quite attractive, aside from looking good she has a very decent personality. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with liking a weapon crazy girl :), I've been sleeping with a knife under my pillow the last 2-3 years. Just a habit I picked up from somewhere, but it doesn't bother me, so I'm fine with it.

I still think the best way for Tenten to shine is to get temporarily seperated from her teammates. =_= It's a bit like Sakura trying to compete with her male teammates in combat: the males overshadow her. In the end, Sakura managed to shine anyway, but she did so by specializing in something other than what her male teammates are good at. Tenten gets the low end of the stick by specializing in taijutsu, which unfortunately is what her two teammates are good at. Sure, unlike her teammates, she has range, but it doesn't provide that much of an added plus when Neji and Lee can make short work of the opponents anyway.

Ah well. We still haven't seen everything of Tenten yet. She'd better have a kick-ass weapon summon in store. =_= Geez Kishimoto is being mean to her. First Lee accuses her of not training enough, then she gets a lame cover. What is Wrong with Kishi? According to the databook 2, Tenten is supposed to be his favorite kunoichi (out of: Ino, Sakura, Tenten and Hinata) design-wise. Hah!

As for the anime...guh, we won't be seeing Tenten for a while. -_-; The anime writers really should use their brains for a bit. I'm sure the anime team can come up with other awesome attacks for Tenten like the Soushoryuu...does anyone think Kishimoto will incorporate the anime's idea of Tenten's 100 % accuracy? I know that fic.

It's called 'Tenten's Troubles' it's a fic where she lets her hair down because she can't find any hairties and all the guys realize she's very hot with her hair down, but the guys get out of hand so Tenten tries finding hairties.

It's one of those fics where the characters get very random and it's a parody type of humor. I like it. It's very funny.

Well, what good is endless stamina if you get a kunai between and in both eyes ?

Temari only lost in the prelims of the chuunin exam because she faced one of the worst matchups for her - the other being the semi-invincible Gaara (but Gaara would have owned -anyone- in the prelims. Sasuke without Chidori and a 1/2 Sharingan (one-edge and two-edge, he got the 2/2 during the month afterwards), Naruto without 'Bunta and m'eh, we know how his fight with the second strongest of the Leaf Genin turned out (Lee is far, far stronger than Sasuke and Neji - don't be fooled by the prospect of genius)

Lack of surname - M'eh. Does everyone need a surname ? Orochimaru, Jiraiya and Tsunade are kick-ass (or, in Orochimaru's case, groping asses) without surnames. Tenten can and will be kickass, too.

Lack of backstory ? - Great for FanFiction authors, more freedom than with Angsty Brooding Bishounen Brat Uchiha Sasuke >.<

That's one of the reasons I love her so much. The lack of history just adds to her mystery really. That and the fact that using her in fanfiction is fun and worry free. :) And hopefully soon they will start using her more in the anime. :amuse

I've just been obsessed with the Nintendo DS RPG Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan. Tenten's supposed to be playable but I have no idea how to get her to join my party! This really stinks. =p

Yeah, it's like GameBoy, except it has two screens, one of which is a touch screen. You use the stylus to do certain things depending on the game. It's a very good system, and has gotten me quite addicted, I must admit. ^^;

Naruto RPG 2 especially drives me nuts. It takes place from the Hokage's death to Sasuke leaving the village. Since I've already beaten the game, I'm trying to get Ino, Hinata and Tenten to join my party. I was successful in getting Shino, but the other three need certain items I've been unable to find. =/

In the ending, the Tenten, Lee and Gai moment was shown. Haha, it was quite cute seeing it in sprite form.

Almost forget to mention the voice acting in the game, but it's from the Gamecube. Nonetheless, it's nice to hear Tenten yell "Soushoryuu!" from the Sound Test. ^^;
