Ok, just a question. Anyone know the hand seals to Soushouryuu? I got: tiger, _____ , monkey, rabbit, and snake. Another site said it was tiger snake, monkey, rabbit, snake. But the images don't exactly match up. The snake at the end looks nothing like the first. I'm thinking that the second hand seal is dragon. Does anyone know the correct seals?

I guess Ill watch shipuuden, normally I just read the manga but if she is in the new ones ill have to see.

Im not sure about in narutimate accel, but yondaime was really hard in NH3, and in NA temari got some more moves, but all her old moves countered Tenten, and now only some do. so its a little better. Just DONT let her get the taunt off.

Also, Tenten's grab leads into any ougi, her gaurd break also combos into any ougi. Jutsu cancel her grab with a bomb if you are in a corner for good damage. If you are feeling lucky you can also jutsu cancel the grab with the chains but that isnt guaranteed. Her down air combo leads into ougis 1 and 3. Thats what i figured out today since my friend let me borrow his PS2/NA

I subscribe to Shonen Jump (A manga magazine) and they spelled Tenten's name wrong in it!! "Tenen" is NOT right. *sobs* And she's the only character whose name is spelled wrong. They listed of the main kunoichi, and she's the only one with a spelling error in her name. :scry

Another mistake is on page 70 in the small section, "Naruto Screenshots!" The first description says, "Naruto whips up a delicious ninja knuckle sandwich for Sasuke." The problem with this is the fact that the picture its supposively describing has Neji, not Sasuke.
I don't think they meant to misspell Tenten's name. It's just small typo.

You see... I actually fell in love with Tenten's eyes... It's one of the uncountable reasons why I love her... The beautiful almond shaped eyes... Have you seen her eyes when she peeked from the barrel? Have you seen her eyes when she readied herself to strike Raiga with her staff? They're absolutely gorgeous!!! I wish I have the screenshot here... :cry

The problem is, when I see the Shippuden, hey... Her eyes changed!!! I'm crying the whole time... I love everything else but I just hope... that her eyes... will be wonderful as it always been once again... :cry....

What are you talking about? This episode was filled with so many awesome scenes. I am more than ecstatic about this episode. My goodness.

The Team Gai interaction, Tenten participating in battle, the extended parts, the animation was great. I love this episode with every fiber of my being. I think Tenten's eyes look gorgeous. They are big and brown in this episode as well, and they're really detailed. It's an aspect that I enjoy about some of the recent episodes including Tenten, even some of the filler from before.

Why does it feel like I'm the only one that really enjoyed this episode from start to finish? XD

I'd also like to say that ehee, Tenten's pants are baggy and therefore wave in the wind and for some strange, inexplicable reason, I liked that. It is like. Whoosh. She's got some sort of like, air pockets or something. Whoosh.

And I like the new way the animators draw her eyes. I liked both versions, really. The new way makes her look older, more elegent, more refined. And yet she still kicks major butt and throws hugmongous metal sharpened objects. The way her eyes are a bit more angled makes her look kinda feline. Or dragon-like. *is shot*

AHAHAH KISAME'S HAIR GOT LIKE, TOTALLY MESSY AFTER TENTEN'S BOMB EXPLODED IN HIS FACE. HAH. TAKE THAT.

And I really like how they're making Tenten more balanced, fighting wise. Long-range explosive kunai and bombs, and close combat with knives. And it's not one of those subtle things that you have to extrapolate really far on to say -- it's rather obvious. She even says it flat out, and she knows her own strengths. (WHICH ARE EXPLOSVIES YAY--) (Yeah, yeah, even though Kisame just brushed her off. Oh well. Plot demands thusly.)

How do people feel about the fact that Tenten was the last to be released from the jutsu in episode 14? Is it a sign of weakness?

I find that to be complete and utter bull shit. She didn't complain or force her team mates to help her. She held out on her own for as long as she could. Her team made the decision to act. So where is the weakness? Where is the uselessness? Tenten freakin' kicked ass last episode. Made an AKATSUKI retreat from her attack. Tenten is useful. Tenten is not weak. She has her worth...so I honestly don't see why anyone is exaggerating the events of episode 14.

I really hope I'm not the only one who feels this way. -_-; I know some of you weren't happy with the last episode like I was, but geez...

As you well know, I adore Shippuden 14. That said, yes, I do think the anime made Tenten out to look a little bit weaker than her teammates, even if I scramble and say it's only her lung capacity that's weaker. I think the most annoying part was when

Gai glances back and specifically says, "Oh no, Tenten is at her limit."

I watched the ep with my brother, who likes to rag on Tenten because he knows she's pretty much my favorite character. Guess what part of the episode he latched onto?

I honestly do not agree with the weak thing though. Big whoop. She lost her breath under water. I really don't see that being a display of weakness at all. What Gai said was just directed at the fact that she wouldn't be able to last any further if she was stuck in there due to lack of oxygen. They were in there for a long time, and in the anime she was stuck in there the longest. People are just taking everything out of context and over exaggerating things. If people want to judge her power they should do so based on her fighting ability from the previous episode...not how long she can hold her breath under water. :notrust

They're exaggerating when she ran out of breath. Any normal human being (in this case, anime characters) must take a breath. People who rag on Tenten annoy me, but if they have solid facts, then I'm fine with it. But people who exaggerate everything just simply piss me off.

Hear, hear! Pray don't misunderstand me - I think Tenten is a very powerful kunoichi and a considerable force in battle. I'm just saying that I dislike the fact that the anime was directed in a way so that anti-Tenten people COULD say she was weak. Plus, as another friend said - in the manga, since she wasn't singled out, we could squee over the fact that Neji rushed to her side even without clear need.

For the sake of not catching up to the manga they will probably show the clone fight.

The fight will likely start out with having all the moves match, but of course it will focus on the fact that Tenten and the other members of Team Gai will need to find an opening and go in for the kill...which they do. What I like about these battles is that sometimes the hardest opponent to fight is yourself.

Anyway, as for my reaction to people saying Tenten is weak due to S14: admittedly this is a shounen anime/manga and strength is viewed, from a fandom perspective, both battle skill wise and sheer physical ability wise, and lung capacity would be under physical ability. So it's sort of a legit argument -- I mean, Sandiame gets some points taken off because he's older and thus less chakra and endurance, which did have an effect in manga canon.

But dude, reality check here: shounen manga. Of course guys are gonna get hyped up. It's just...reality, folks.

In any case, beyond the "hardy har haaaar Tenten iz weak" -- the kinda sweet thing is that the entire team noticed and cared -- even Gai, who was fighting atm and could've conceivably not noticed because he was busy fighting a Akatsuki one on one. I mean, it would've been worse if they hadn't noticed, no? And the fact that they did, and the fact that they knew each other's limits -- which mean they've trained together enough to know each other's strengths and weaknesses -- is one more sign that they're a team, not just a collection of really strong shinobi.

There's a tutorial that shows you how to make the small heaven and earth scrolls here (http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=85346). Though if you're trying to make a bigger one, you should use a paper towel roll instead of a regular toilet paper roll.

And if all else fails, you could always buy one.

Actually, I've been thinking about what I would do with that fight if I were the director of the episode or whatever.

Tenten and her clone are equal in skill. Their weapons keep clashing and Tenten is amazed that the clone can throw every one of the same weapons she can, and she can't seem to figure out an opening.

As the clashing of weapons go on (here we can have some staff or sword fighting filler), the Tenten clone manages to injure Tenten. Tenten falls to the ground and looks up as the Tenten clone is ready to finish her off. Tenten summons her strength, gets up and runs away. As the Tenten clone is about to pursue, she trips over a thread trap that Tenten set up. Tenten quickly takes advantage of the opening and barrages the clone with her weapons. As you can imagine, Tenten got hit on purpose so she could create that opening.

Guh. I love threadmasters too much for my own good, but I thought that threads should be brought back into the story. I mean, Tenten did manipulate threads to help Lee back in the Chuunin Exams, so why not use them post-time skip as well? Either way, I hope the clone fight goes well.

They are equal in skill , and then when Tenten is going to lose , He remember what her father said to her when she was small ( Tenten family appear , yeah ! ) Then Tenten use a very powerful skill that she never use before and defeat the clone ! Because she never use the skill before and the skill is very dangerous , so Tenten very tired compare to her teammate in the manga .

Because I'm a Tenten fan , so if I'm the director I will add these ::nuts

When Tenten use her attack , her attack is too powerful and even akatsuki and team guy notice her skill from far away .......

Itachi : What ... was that ?

Kisame : Looks like it's a powerful skill .........

And after she defeat her clone , zetsu hide behind and he saw the whole fight .

Zetsu : This girl was already at jonin level ..... why she's only a chunin ?

And then maybe Zetsu or other akatsuki can read ppl mind , and then the akatsuki can see Tenten past ! And the next episode was : Tenten ' s past !
Whole episode about Tenten ! And the episode was about Tenten's childhood and why she didn't become jonin .....

I don't think it's worth getting worked up over. Like some replies stated, we already know that most of it was just added filler, and even if people want to keep looking at it as a negative, I really think it gave the anime team an oppurtunity to expand on how well Team Gai is organized and how much they care for each part of their team. :love

OMG...CLONE FIGHT! That's something I really want to see. I mean...it's a good excuse for extending this arc so it doesn't get caught up with the manga, and it would be nice to see some weapons flying around. :nuts I really like the whole wire idea. She needs to use those more...maybe wield a few huge ass swords too. :amuse
