Who do you think would win? The place is where Naruto and co fought Zabuza, Itachi has no sharingan of any variety but anything else goes.

also I know there is a thread on the next page about this but that does not discuss Itachi without Sharingan.

Personally I believe Kisame would win...but Im probably a little biased..what do you guys think?

I didnt take away Itachis greatest power because thats the only reason he can lose...I took it away because we havnt seen Kisame really do anything, so I thought it evened it out because we havnt seen Itachi use anything but the sharingan and its abilities.

Once all five bodies attacked him and disrupted his chakra, the fight was over. Even with his knowledge on Pein, he was only able to kill Summoner Pein out of the Six Paths of Pain.

The location you selected would be a perfect place for Kisame against Itachi with a Sharingan. The Mist renders Sharingan useless, and Kisame just strolls to victory from there. Without Sharingan it is too one-sided a victory for Kisame.
