Have a question? Ask it here. Hopefully our resident Shana experts can answer it, even if it's only to say no one knows at this point.
How did Flame Haze came to be? were they born as such, or were they all formerly human? or were there some human and some born flame haze?
How did the Tomogara become Flame Haze's servants?
I kinda forget, maybe some of these were in season 1....

Why is there said to be a "balance" when the Guze world seems entirely parasitic to the real one?

I thought you were the one to answer these questions...

Why do you think I made the thread? I have way more questions than I have answers.

Pairings. :LOS
Imagine a little kid living w/ his parents.
his parents were eaten and became torches.
soon after, the parents disappeared.
will the little kid forget his parents? how can his memory be replaced?
will people/relatives also forget who made the kid?
:LOS
relatives: where did you come from?
kid: I dont know.
both:NO!

Just goes to show you that Shana's system of Existence is stupid and contradictory. :zaru

Most denizens don't actually leave the Crimson World, really. Only the greedy ones. It's also a fact that both the Crimson World (Guze) and "This World" (Konoyo) are required to have a balanced amount of existance. If they don't both worlds go "poof" and disappear. It's a purely symbiotic relationship. It's lucky that there are quite a lot of Flame Hazes out there.

"Nobodies remembers them, nobody finds it strange."
The thing is, they won't remember and they won't ask because they think that's the way it has always been. Kids who lose their parents "to the flames" think they're orphans and that something happened to their parents when they were infants. As for relatives... Well, without the parents to link their relation on anything other than a blood relationship, they'd probably forget that they're relatives. A person's possessions also don't disappear when their existence is eaten away, which might explain the mansion that Konoe and her butler were living in.

What's special about Shana's swords?
Nietono no Shana is a hougu that completely ignores unrestricted methods, essentially an anti-caster melee weapon.

what happens if a normal person wants to go to a place that is currently inside a fuzetsu? what happens if a flame haze that is inside goes outside of a fuzetsu?

That would not be possible since anything within the fuzetsu, will be as it never existed in the first place until the fuzetsu is dispelled.
If I cast a Fuzetsu in the vicinity of the Empire State Building, it would be as it never existed in the first place. Of course, people would instinctively avoid the area not knowing why. Then when it's dispelled all memory of everything within it would return to the populace
