Awesome movie. Been quite a while since I watched it. Still have the OST somewhere, really creepy stuff.

Yeah, great horror flick and very 'Lovecraftian'. Another fave next to 'From Beyond'. Sam Neill's done quite a few good horror movies. Another of my favorite by him, "Event Horizon"

Exactly very 'Lovecraftian' indeed and as you know I'm a fan of his work and its inspirations, I especially like the psychological effect this film has...its very
intelligent.

This movie was lots of fun, especially since I first watched it right around the time I started reading Stephen King, whom the movie makes a lot of oblique references to (though I can't remember if he actually makes a cameo, anyone remember?), especially the way it leads to such a bizarre and surreal ending.
