Top three SHs and 3 world powers (spoilers)

it's not anything groundbreaking or anything, but something I thought about after 485
Luffy- is abvoiuslly aiming for the Yonkou, as he's ambition is to become PK
Zoro- his goal is to beat a Shichibukai, and he's already had a near-death encounter with 2
Sanji- He just said in 485, that MHQ doesn't even recognize him, but soon enough he'll be the man the Marines fear the most (it could the a reason for his bounty gags)

though it is a speculation i always thought that the top 3 SH will face in the end the 3 strongest people of the powers:

luffy will face WB,as some recent trans on the yellow databook confirmed what i have been saying a long time,WB is indeed stated to be the exact same in fighting abilitites and skill as he was when he was fighting roger so if luffy surpasses him it will be like he surpassed roger

zoro will face mihawk,we know this battle will happen in the last arcs of OP till the very beginning but the fact i want to shout is that mihawk propably is the strongest man in the SCBK so zoro will face the strongest SCBK in the end (though till now this is nowhere stated or implied,it is just my speculation),since shanks is story wise the 2nd strongest yonkou and a swordsman that leads me to believe that mihawk is the strongest among the SCBK

sanji will face sengoku,the trans that had the gorosei saying aokiji is the strongest marine were false,in the reality they said aokiji was the highest fighting force of the marines,later robin said that the admirals are considered/called the highest fighting force of the marines,the exact same kanji were used in both scenes,so in reality aokiji was said to be an admiral and not the strongest marine,which leaves me to speculate that sengoku must be the strongest marine and after what sanji said today i consider this fight even more possible

as for the other SH franky may face kuma,robin may face doflamingo etc

i don't really read databooks, just a few but i think there are still other possible and potential final villains for Luffy (e.g. Shanks, Dragon, Blackbeard). and don't forget that we still have Shank's crewmates which the SHs may face some time later.

Hmm interesting...

Luffy indeed seems to be more connected with the Yonkou and Zoro with the Shichibukai, but there's really nothing clear with Sanji, at least for now. But now that I think about it, Sanji needs some connection with one of the top tier people too, someone that can become a goal to beat or something but without actually replacing his true dream, just a final fight to start building hype for, like Zoro vs Mihawk. =)

The way it's mention in the trans of the databook it seems that his body is weaker but his spirit hasn't let him lose his skills and that to me can still be taken as he was stronger at his prime with a healthier body. Just because he hasn't lost his spirit doesn't mean his overall body capability is the same(i.e strength, speed, endurance etc).

Everything else i agree. Sengoku was highly regarded by WB so we know he was going to be strong so let's wait to see how the Marine and Sanji will connect.

Indeed the plot thickens. What exactly is stopping the Yonkou from getting One Piece? Whitebeard is said to be Gol D. Roger's equal. I would imagine he would get Roger's treasure after his execution...

that's not really a question. of course, not all people wants to be PK. maybe he's not interested then and finds himself not the most suited man for the title.

the answer is simple, what do the SHs have that is unique throught the world....Robin being the sole survivor of Ohara, Roger speaking the ancient lenguage and leaving poneglyphs only Robin can read behind. but you know Oda, he could pull something different out of his ass at the last moment.

we don't know something deep about Shanks yet. i honestly think he loves pirating hence look at him now, but i don't think he wants to be PK. maybe he's the same w/ Usopp. Usopp wants to be a great warrior of the sea (aka great pirate), but never dreams to be PK. maybe that or we don't know... we'll get there soon, sooner and soonest.

Theres no proof that he isn't going after it himself, the yonkou could all be fighting each other trying to get one piece and you know the marines are there fighting them as well trying to stop it. It would take awhile for one crew to take out all the yonkou and the marines to get one piece.

shanks was on roger's ship,the only crew that went to raftel was that crew,though we don't know if roger went alone to raftel but i suppose shanks knows something we don't

also power16 the way oda made the whole paragraph about WB it shows he still has the same fighting ability and spirit so he is the same as b4 even though he needs medical attention now

don't forget on who WB was based so u will understand why oda made him this way

The way Oda wrote the thing about WB still makes it mysterious i can read and see it as WB is still the same or i could see it as he has a weaker body but still full of spirit.

also WB was based on an old man that had his own bar but he was sick and he was tubed with pipes but when people told him to go home and things like that he told them that the drink was the only medicine he needed

all WB's lines like:"i won't listen to a snot kid like u" were from that old man

so by knowing this and reading WB's profile u can see why WB has the same fighting ability

also the reason for WB to exist is to measure luffy's capacity and when he surpasses WB it would be like he surpassed roger

so in my eyes WB was always the same as then and now it is stated!!

See this is one thing that makes one piece so interesting and its that there are so many powerful guys in the series its going to be hard to see who Luffy and co end up fighting against.

yeah this is ruled out seeing as how zoro would die for luffy. they would basically all die for each other.

i dont see why dragon would try to stop his sons dream of becoming PK. he saved him from execution for a reason.

Garp has to be amongst the highest tier in the Marines (not counting the World Goverment though).

Garp cornered Gol D. Roger .... so yeah he is among the strongest in the marines .... he got slashed by a freaking sword but didnt even feel it (that might have been for the lulz though :lmao)

I agree with Mihawk's post which said Luffy will be strong enough to be a yonkou and Zoro strong enough to be a Shichibukai ... we still have to see what is in store for Sanji though
