no, i read that extra stuff in the movie dvd...
They originally made spongebob one of those sea sponges, but then some one says, "Hey why not make him a soap sponge?" So they drew it, and it looked good. Spongebob looked deformed as a sea sponge...

Sponge Bob is an annoying show. Everytime I hear that laugh, I cringe. A lot of new american cartoons suck. Like Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Billy and Mandy, Sponge Bob. Those are the three that I can think of the top of my head cause I hardly watch Cartoon Network anymore because of those shows. Why cant they be more like Family Guy or The Simpsons or Futurama.

In the UK, most people stopped watching Cartoon Network because they moved DBZ to CNX, which was a bit like your adultswim, i think, but ages ago it was turned into toonami, a really not so good channel.

Most cartoon series never make it into the theatre, but spongeBoB did. So in japan anime is to them as spongebob is to us.

lol, spongebob is rad. everyone likes it because it kinda ties back to the whole ren&stimpy style comedy, only the detailed extreme close-up stills don't happen as often in spongebob... whatever, its like ren&stimpy, IN THE OCEAN!!!!

And about the 3rd episode it already said he worked at the Krusty Krab for nearly 3 years(the episode where him and squidward compete for the employee of the month title).
What would lead me to believe he's of young age (below 14, maybe even 10)
His childish behavior and moronic demeanor
Didn't know what a credit card was, nor how to use one
Stole a balloon with Patrick and thought he was a felon for doing so
Didn't know about curse words, until he found one written on the side of a dumpster. Mister Krabs informed him that those we're bad words and then Spongebob tried avoiding them
He finds fry-cooking as a good proffesion
The last one might need some explaining. When I was six I saw a Help Wanted sign at the nearby Pizza Hut. Naturally I loved pizza so I really said to myself that that's what I want to be when I grow up. Now at my age there is no fucking way I would want to be involved in making pizzas or any other fast food department. It can't support a daily life style.

Sponge bob is pretty wild, i havent seen much, but i saw the movie, and well the David Hasslehoff scene did it to me. I was luaghing for a good 20 minutes. the whole series is gold.

The newer episodes suck (go figure) but the rest are good. I think squidward and plankton are the funniest.
The movie was very funny! It was a very good movie. I have seen it two or three times.
Another good episode is the Wormy episode, where Patrick and Spongebob watch over teh lil worm till sandy gets back:P

Spongebob rules!Thought the new mini episodes are rediculuss....The last awesome thing to happen was "Where's Gary?" and since then nothing good has happened....Where's Gary is my FAV episode....Who wishes they made a show based on the movie[which is the BEST movie ever!! and it's not even naruto related]
