An Important Question About Byakugan

So I was thinking one day, the byakugan gives you x-ray vision. And prolonged exposure to x-rays can make you sick or even cause cancer. So if a Hyuuga kept using their byakugan on someone, could they give them cancer? If so, I can see now why Hiashi said the Hyuugas are the strongest in Konoha. What do you think?

EDIT: I mean Hyuugas giving OTHER people cancer, not getting cancer from their own bloodline.

x-ray is a nickname for Byakugan. It isnt really x-ray, it allows the user to see nearly 360 degreees, to see over long distances, as well see the chakra circulatory system.

They dont see their bones or anything. That would be x-ray.

Also, Byakugan is a bloodline, it wouldn't be created if it were bad. And there have been no signs of side affects from over usage, except fatigue. Unlike the sharingan and its potentail blindness from overusage of Mangekyou Sharingan.

Well the thing with X-rays are that they actually give off radiation which causes cancer compared to Byakugan which doesn't emit anything. But even if they could, that would kind of be a useless ability during a fight as it would take a long time for the opponent to die through cancer.

(1) Last time I checked Byakugan users don't have any ill effects from their Kekkei Genkai. And (2) I don't think Kishimoto understands the concept of electromagnetic radiation.
