Well, this is how it works: you find a picture trough Google or something, then you save it to your CP, then you register at Photobucket or ImageShack, and there you upload the picture. Then you get a code for the picture, which you copy and paste into your signature, and then the picture should be seen in your signature. . . :amuse

Unhappily ever after

Introduction

Many people on the forum have a preconceived idea of how this manga should end. More importantly, Naruto himself has his own ideas and goals, and these goals of his will most probably come to fruition.

If all goes right according to shounen manga laws and the most plausible story-line: the following will happen at the end of the manga, or it will at least be hinted at. (Please note that I don't necessarily approve of what I'm going to type now, but I'm pretty sure this is what will happen.) Firstly, Naruto will become Hokage. Secondly, NaruSaku will probably happen. And thirdly, Sasuke will probably come back to Konoha and revive his clan, and Team 7 will be reunited at the end of it all. You may not want these things to happen, but they probably will. These are Naruto's wants and desires.

What bothers me though, is what Naruto's happy ending will probably realistically mean for him... If he gets what he wants in the end I don't see happiness in his future at all. Let me explain.

1. His job

Being Hokage is very prestigious, and it's certainly a good job for a certain type of person. Naruto wants this job because a) It is a token position denoting the strongest in the village, and he wants the respect and recognition that goes with that. Understandable, considering that he grew up without that. b) It's symbolic. Naruto doesn't know it yet but his father was a Hokage too, so it'll be nice and heart warming if he reaches or surpasses his father's level of excellence. And c) He gets to protect the village he loves, Konoha.

Which is all fine and dandy when viewed from afar with rose tinted spectacles. But think of the realities of the job and Naruto's personality. Naruto is a man of action. He's got his mother's personality. Being Hokage, from what we've seen so far, involves lots and lots of paperwork, assigning missions to other ninjas and only getting to kick some ass if Kyuubi or Orochimaru invades, which unfortunately doesn't happen all that often. Face it, Naruto won't like it. I'm willing to bet the job would actually make him unhappy...

2. His wife

Naruto x Sakura, from what I've heard, are apparently a very compatible pairing, and I'm prepared to concede that they might be happy with each other. But... they might also not :pek Sakura, despite other qualities, is a punch happy woman and her fists' favorite target is Naruto's head. Oh, I know people say that they're good natured sort of punches and just there for comic relief, but marriage is not really about comic relief. I'm pretty sure that Sakura will lose her temper a few times and knock Naruto's teeth out...

Then there's the matter of his diet. Naruto loves ramen. Sakura's the type of woman who'll want to be feeding him vitamins, and that'll cause problems. :pek

I don't even want to think about their children. Pink haired boys are going to have complexes, I'm afraid.

3. His best friend

Ah, Sasuke. The best friend who thinks a chidori through the chest is an adequate greeting after three years.

By the end of the story, Sasuke will probably have achieved his first goal, his vengeance, whether it involves Itachi dying or not. I'm not speculating how Sasuke will find himself back in Konoha, there are many ways that could go, but he'll probably be there, because one of Naruto's goals is to bring Sasuke back. And many people are under the assumption that Sasuke will relax and become a nice guy once he's achieved his goal.

Wrong. :awesome Sasuke has another goal, remember, a goal that won't be finished anytime soon. He wants to revive his clan, and if he goes about that with the same dedication he's going after his first goal, you can bet Naruto's going to endure many more chidori's if he interrupts his friend's clan rebuilding for some bonding.

Conclusion

As you can see, Naruto's life is actually not going to be a happy one at all if all goes according to plan. He's going to be stuck in a dead end job that crushes his spirit; his wife and best friend will probably be responsible for him being hospitalized most of the time; his kids will probably be emo because their hair is pink; and he won't be able to eat much of his beloved ramen.

Does Kishi really wish this cruel and unhappy life on his main character? He might portray this ending as happy and fuzzy, but think about what you've read here. :pek This is how it will really be...

I want NaruSaku, its not as anti as I thought it would be. :/ Still its rude in many ways, Tsunade ain't going to die that early, she can always be doing the paperwork and such, and Sakura barely hits Naruto anymore. His dad being the hokage, also liked action, he survived the paperwork didn't he. Hair color strangely, but usually goes through your sex, boys get their fathers hair, and girls get their mothers hair, its true 80% of the time. I don't think they will have pink haired male children.

I like Naruto so much because he's so much like me. Hardheaded, hotblooded, good hearted, caring, and never gives up. He's got all the same flaws I myself have as well as all the good qualities I try to live up to. He's literally one of the only characters in all of fiction that I can say I'm 100% behind, regardless of his tripping up and failings, because I know he'll always come out on top, because he'll never give up. :)

Okay, now I'm ready, but this will probably be a long post, so bear with me now, Naruto fans . . . :P

Naruto actually grew on me. First he was funny, and a bit charming with his "stupidity", but then we got an in depth look on why he acted the way he did. And it amazed me how he can pull of to goof around with all the pain he must feel inside with his background. I admired him for that. Naruto truly has a great inner strength. But, thankfully, Naruto gained friends and important people as the series progressed. Now he would do anything for them, because he knows how important it is to have someone who supports you.

I mean, he turned many battles into something more than just a battle. From my point of view, he turned his battles with Neji and Gaara into battles for their well being after hearing their stories. Naruto simply fights for something greater than himself. I mean, Sasuke doesn't want to be chased, but Naruto still doesn't give up. I think Naruto wants to save Sasuke because Sasuke saved him. The bound between them is important for both of them, and Naruto refuses to give up on it, which many others would have done a long time ago. That he never gives up is amazing. Very few people have the strength for it. But it also amazes me how Naruto is a source of inispiration. He didn't let Ibiki scare him, and his monologue gave courage to the rest of the people in the room.

Overall, I like Naruto's personality. He breaks the traditional view of how a ninja should be. They have a though job, but that doesn't mean that they don't feel, so I can imagine that it puts them trough a great emotional strain. Naruto shows that it's okay to show emotions, it's human, and it's okay to be exactly who you are. No one is perfect, and putting on a mask only makes you unhappy. His goofy attitude also shows how important it is to have some fun in life. Otherwise it's very hard to live on with all the shit in the world. Plus, I have never really been the best at anything, so I can see a bit of myself in our blonde knucklehead. However, he always reminds me to do my best with whatever I have, because that can get you far enough in the end.

I only tooked sneak peeks of it, I love that one part Where 1-tailed Naruto sent Orochimaru flying through the woods. Don't make Naruto angry, You woudn't like him when he's angry. Sai was wrong calling Naruto "pretty weak". KT4 Naruto looked like Pryon from Darkstalkers

The double ep was garbage. it was 40 mins of naruto powering up, oro walking towards them, and naruto yelling about sasuke :notrust. the anime could have done so much with that, yet failed horribly.

Actually, I think the episode was okay. The animation was bad, and it was slow compared the manga, but it was okay for me. I had actually missed Orochimaru's creepy appearance, and he made a good entrance, and we finally saw KN4 :amuse
