Alright, the first official Uzumaki Naruto FC fanart contest is now officially on!! :naru2

Entries are due exactly 2 weeks from now.

The fanart must consist of the character Naruto himself, but you're free to add other characters as long as Naruto's the main focus. And yeah, cross-overs are allowed (you can draw Naruto in Ichigo from Bleach's clothing, for example), if you feel like spicing it up. In addition, any form of Naruto is allowed, whether it be baby Naruto, chibi Naruto, normal Naruto, timeskip Naruto, Kyuubi Naruto, Naruto w/4-tails, or even Naruto in your own style.

With that said, of course the entree must drawn their own fanart. You can't just steal a good Naruto FC from a website. Also, the fanart must have been made specifically for this contest. So sorry, you cannot enter a drawing of Naruto you've done prior to this post.

The winner will be decided by the co-owners of the club and myself, and the winner shall receive the following:

1) A 150x150 avatar of their choosing if they're not a senior member
2) Their fanart will be added to the first post for all newbie's to see!!
3) Their fanart will be taken by me to the Avy/Sig workshop and be used as stock in a new FC banner for the club
4) I will proudly wear that FC banner in my sig and include a link to the prize winning art for all the members of the forum to see

Ah, I can understand that. It does feel like Kishi is overpowering the sharingan, but I feel like with all of this new info we might actually be moving to more of a resolution in the story at last. I just really want the story to move forward, and I feel like it's finally doing so, even though it does seem like one crazy mess right now. Well, I have faith that Kishi at least knows what he's doing. XD

Kishimoto's inspiration for this Uchiha clan's true purpose comes from another manga: a homage to Ohtsuka-sensei's Madara.

The Madara from the anime/manga Madara was the son of a demon king and a human, and wielded the sword of Kusanagi (there were two swords in that story, and they combined at the end which is something to think about).

Madara also had a half brother who was basically his arch-nemisis, but they helped each other in the final battle against their father.

It's also interesting to note that the series Madara also uses the term chakra to describe life energy. The chakra in that series was also utilized as a tool in fighting.
Combine this with the fact that njt's translation had Kyuubi talking about Madara like he existed in the past...

I'm willing to bet Uchiha Madara is, in fact, the second statue at the VotE. And I bet Madara is also the founder of the Uchiha police force.

Madara's grandson is probably Uchiha Fugaku, Sasuke's father. This would explain the striking resemblence between CS2 Sasuke and Madara.

...all the pieces are there....kyuubi knew this uchiha by name...and knowing that shodai had the power to control bijuu...it would make sense that the person who fought him at the valley at the end would be able to supress the power of those bijuu....could mean that shodai tried to use the kyuubi somehow and this uchiha was able to supress him and what not.


oh...I have faith in kishi as well...if I didn't...I wouldn't be continuing the manga or waiting for each new chapter with great anticipation

The SAT's are over for me...finally. The essay was random and harder that I have done before. It was on how technology can make people neglect there education and environment. Luckly, its over.

Finished a few Hunter x Hunter volumes its getting better. I looove Hisoka, at one point he ripped a card out of his torn off arm. He is the defintion of insane. XD
