Location:Same place where Jirarya fought Pain.

I know this may seem like a auto win for the Sanin but remeber that those 3 could not defeat Hanzou who was defeated by Pain.I'm not sure if the sanin where in there prime back then but its something to keep in mind regardless.

i dissagree i know i may be assumeing and all but pein has got to have got to have some huge jutsu. afterall he has the rennegan or whatever and about what i said before.

Pein himself said if Jiraiya had known his secret (which he did figure out at the end) then he would've lost the battle.

Sannin. Without any nerfs on the Sannin, it means they can call upon their boss summons. Plus Jiraiya and Orochimaru together should be able to take on all 6 bodies with difficulty of course. Add in Tsunade and it lightens the load on the both of them and makes it easier for them.

Pain can win this one. One of his bodies summons a lot to keep Jiraiya from doing the frog genjutsu, the defensive one that absorbs jutsus keeps Orochimaru and his possible kinjutsu summons busy, and the rest help out (2 bodies per Sannin).

For me it'll go to the Sannins. If ever the three of them decided to like have an alliance for just one day because if not Oro will not be the strongest since Pain is a threat. I think they'll have an advantage since they have a healer. So, no one, in battle, will die. One will be for defense and the other will be offense. And, Oro can summon dead people and he can summon the 4 Hokages in Konoha and other people. Also, include their summonings. A snail, snake and a frog will combine their powers. Also, they'll be invulnerable if only they'll know how to work together as one. 3 brains are better than 1.

Sannin would win, although pein did beat hanzou, i think its obvious now the sannin that fought hanzou weren't as powerful as they are now, the j-mans performance against pein and pein saying he could have lost proves that.

Jiraiya going hermit mode (it'd be even harder for pein to stop jiraiya from going into hermit mode if he has oro and tsunade also attacking him), oro summoning manda, tsunade her slug boss, plus all the jutsus the sannin have are extremely powerful, the sannin would take this imo. Once the j-man goes into hermit mode he can do the genjutsu and if all six bodies of pein are out they all would fall from it.

From what we've seen from Pein till now he would loose, infact the sannin would beat him without too much difficulty, but if Pein has some other really incredible jutsus and the rinnegan has some other really powerful abilities pein would have a chance.

Pein started off only using one body in the fight but by the end he had to use all 6; 3 of which did literally nothing. If Pein were to use all 6....hell, all three off the bat, Jiraiya would be mush. So STFU about Jiraiya damn near soloing.

It was never 6 on 1. First the summon spammer attacked, Jiraiya went Hermit mode and kicked the long haired one, later Jiraiya attacked and the fat one absorbed his attacks. Jiraiya ran and the frogs started singing their song caught all three when they found where Jiraiya was hiding. Jiraiya stabbed their bodies then all of a sudden he got thrown out the building. He then got stabbed by the summoner and his body was shot by the rockett guy. Throughout the whole fight, Pein never attacked all together. The only one of the Peins that attacked where, the bald arm shooter guy (last attack), and the summoner (he did basically everything).

It shows how people give their opinions without even reading the manga/ watching the anime in its current entirety. Sannin would most likely win this. Pein acknowledged that Jiraiya wasn't much weaker than him and that he could of killed him in that fight if he had knowledge of his "secret." This puts Jiraiya only 1 or two notches under Pein. If all six bodies were out during the Frog song, all of them would of died. That would be the case in this battle, as HE will have to use all six bodies to fight all of the sannin. Throw in Tsunade and Orochimaru, who are both arguably at Jiraiya's level and Pein loses.
