The Hyuuga's Ideal Job

As you know, the Uchiha clan was once the police department in Konoha. The Hyuga clan, seems to be ideal for a medical department. I mean they know all the chakra points in the body, can see all kinds of things with the Byakugan. This would be cool, and would be a great parallel to the Uchiha's previous job set. Just seems to fit well...what do you think?

True, their Byakugan would certainly give them an advantage in the medical department. Though it seems as if the Hyūga clan is more of a separate branch from the rest of Konahagakure. I am not entirely sure if they would be willing to do such a thing for the villagers, even if they happen to be suited for such a job.

The thing about Hyuugas is that their clan seems very separate from Konoha. I always though the same of Uchiha, and so the reason that they were the police force was to have some sense of control and to have some way of keeping their secrets. If anyone else was the investigative force in Konoha they might have went digging into the clan's matters, like what arose with Shisui's death. Anyway, this relates to the topic because I really don't see the majority of Hyuuga caring about other people enough to become medics even though they are suited to such a matter.

The Hyuuga clan would actually be very beneficial if they involved themselves with Konoha's affairs. Not only would be of help in the medical field but also serve as a powerful guard becuase with their Byakugan, they can see distances ahead. If it were Hyuugas on guard during the Chuunin exams arc, they would have seen the Sand and Sound shinobi preparing the summoning ritual for the three headed snake. That means that it would have been very likely that they could have prevented the mass destruction that fell upon Konoha because of the beast.

The Hyuuga clan should be considered invaluable during Konoha's shortage of man power because of the invasion from Sound and Sand. Hyuugas are pretty much verstaile in almost any kind of situation because of their Byakugan. They could become doctors which would help them heal internal damage and other serious complications because of their ability to see a person's inner workings. Another great role the Hyuugas can play are effective trackers for obvious reasons of thier Byakugan being able to see wide and far away distances which would also make them really efficient watch guards which could have prevented the invasion of Konoha if there were Hyuugas on watch duty instead.

Regular medics already fill the role of doctors and such. I see the Hyuuga clan as a position that would watch for intruders, since none of them have exhibited healing expertise (even though their abilities would be good for x-rays).

Have to completely agree with this post here. Hyuuga seem just as selfish as the Uchiha so I can't imagine them being doctors.
