has anyone seen it? I have seen the First 3 Episodes, and i think its amazing!! I think all of you need to see it for your self..but here is the basic outline of the show:
"More than 10 years have passed since the bubble economy ended. The world has polarized into wealth and poor, and Japan is not an exception. Wealth is pursing his desire and pleasure, and Tokyo has become a city of pleasure.
Saiga is a photo journalist, but he was confiscated his passport and he has to stay in Japan. One day, he is asked to cover a secret club, “Roppongi Club�. It is a club which only a few selected people can join. It is said that the member can get ultimate pleasure. He manages to get in the club. Then, he meets a girl, Kagura, who asks him for help. She is manipulated by the manager, Suitengu, and she is treated as the symbol of the club. Saiga runs away with her. After that, he finds he has obtained a special ability by the encounter with her. Also, the pursuers of Roppongi Club are those who have obtained special abilities."

Yeah, this show rocks. You should join the Speed Grapher FC. I wanted to get a pic of Saiga for my new avatar, but I didn't find anything online yet, as the show is too new for alot of good pics to be up. Definitely worth checking out.

How old do you think she is? 15-18 I think, but I'd guess 16. Way young, if you ask me.

I'm guessing 17-18, because of the fact that she has fully devoloped breast's, plus the fact that her mom would like her be kissed every knight by horny ritch basterds...to gain something they truly desire..

the series is interesting...at the moment the story is sort of shallow in my opinion, i hope we learn more soon

It probably will be, by the sounds of it that "Euphoria Gene" unlocks their secret desires and makes them like superhuman because of it. So he will need to learn to accept his power likely. You know how these things work haha.
Like the ballerina guy, his desire was probably to be more flexable. And he got what he wanted. But Saiga's is something which he doesn't want.

Watching episode 3 right now... Man, Speed Grapher is weird, but in a cool way. I like it!

Has anyone seen this new anime? So far only 3 episdoes have been relased and subbed and I've only seen the first, but it looks very interesting.
It follows a photograper who gets "excited" when he takes photos involving death and fate, and his uncovering of an organization of the rich designed to fuel their weird desires.
It is a lot more adult-orientated that Naruto or Bleach, but it's very cool and I recommend you checking it out.

The place where I got my episodes said it had been lisenced and wouldn't be hosting them anymore. Now that I can get them at your link, I'll start watching them again. Last episode I saw was 8.

Stopped watching because the quality is not consistant, the the first couple episodes are in much better quality in art and animation than the following ones, unlike Basilisk, which came out at the same time and has consistant good quality =\

Yer the quality for some of the new eps is just shit house, the animation is pretty poor too. Especialy car animation's, i just laugh at it and try not let it ruin the story

Can someone give me a brief description of what Speed Grapher is about? It looks really interesting... I watched this one animated image (about 30 seconds long) and it look intriguing. That is all!

There is this secret society where really wealthy people can gain the one secret desire (that not even they know about) by means of passionately kissing this 16 year old girl. A war photographer covered the story of the society but was found out right after the girl kissed him. He gained the power to kill with his camera. Now he and the girl are being chased by other people who have recieved "The Goddess' Blessing" like a man made of rubber and a woman made of diamond, ect.

Yeah, that image is what enticed me, but its not really the style the anime is done in. Its really dark, with lots of mature themes (like plenty of sex and violence). Some episodes don't have any action at all, but each carries a certain feeling with it that is really kick ass. I'd watch the 1st three or four episodes before making your mind up whether you like it or not. The first two tell the story of the same day through the eyes of the main character (1st episode) and the "goddess" girl (2nd episode).

I haven't seen the manga, and I can't really compare this to anything. Its not a very happy show. Not a lot of happy moments. Very somber. Very mature. Lots of killing. Sex. Violence. Corruption. And moral depravity. I highly recommend it if you don't mind watching something with little humor.

Well, I watched Gantz, Ichi the Killer[anime/manga], Homunculus[manga]. I think I could watch this one. I'll have to check this out.

Episode 17 came out as well. You can get it at shinsen-subs.org. Just click on their secondary tracker and you'll find the torrent link. I can't wait til the sub catches up to the raw. I think the raw is on 20 right now. Also, does anyone know how long this series will be. I love this series but it doesn't seem like a series that'll go past 26 eps. I think they can easily wrap it up in 26 eps. So I was wondering if anyone knew?

A Great Ending , For a Great anime. The ending was everything i wanted it to be, sad, exciting, too bad he went blind :(
Speed Grapher was a nice anime, good ending, and the music was also quite good.
Though on the other hand... I didn't like how the main character got more... pedophile-ish over the course of the series...
Yea, that part was a little disturbing. But I still think that despite that, they made this a really good series that I really enjoyed. ^_^

I like the show just because it has Ginza. It has been a while since I watched the show, so I don't remember if Ginza has appeared yet by the first Volume. She is my Favorite character in speed Grapher, but that is me because I have a thing for strong women with guns. smile-big
The beginning is slow, but it gets better as the show goes on. If you didn't like thje first volume, do like I do if you can, rent them first.

Yes she did. The last episode only redeaming thing was that we get to see
Ginza with make up and wearing a nurse outfit and she seemed to be happy.,
