Basicly what i said was.... My name is Morkal.

Now its time to teach you the structure of a sentence.
Sentece Rules:

THE SUBJECT ALWAYS GOES FIRST IN THE SENTECE!!!

If something is alive meaning like a "cat is alive" You say (Neko Ga imasu)
Because IMASU means alive present ect.

Imasen Means Dead :( or not present.. for example the if the sensei says Morkal ga imaska and im not there and the other students say "Morkal imasen"
Meaning morkal is absent.

desu is always at the end of a sentence if imasu or imasen are not there.

Ka means the sentence is a question

Watashi(My <-- Watashi no, I, Me)

O namae(Name)

To eat: Tabe{i}masu

If something is alive meaning like a "cat is alive present" You say (Neko Ga imasu)

To be alive would be ikimasu / ikite imasu. Imasu just tells us that there is a cat. Dead or alive.

desu is always at the end of a sentence if imasu or imasen are not there.

Ex1: "Tango o oboemasu."
Ex2: "Eiga o mimasen ka?"
Ex3: "Koko wa doko?"

Ka as a particle at the end of a sentence means the sentence is a question.

One should study a language and know it pretty well before one decides to teach it, ne?

Gsl already pointed out most errors. I'll point out some other stuff or add any extra notes as needed.


The subject does not always come at the sentence. You really can put the subject anywhere you want, as long as it's before the verb. (Though it may not always be natural)


Onamae (not name) means name, but the O, in the front makes it politer. The word is really just namae, but onamae sounds nice and polite. Therefore you wouldn't use it for yourself.


the o in number 3 should be no



To eat - Taberu (This is more like "eat/ will eat" since Japanese doesn't think of the infinitive like we do in English)
Tabemasu is the polite version of this.

Tabete iru (polite version: tabete imasu): will often translate as "is eating"

What a strange statement.

"Inu wa kami o tabete imasu" is what I think Morkal was trying to say.
[Note: Ga is fine to use here instead of "wa" but there are subtle differences that are difficult to explain]

I'm japanese cos please fix my english

Cos is an intentional misspelling used on the Internet. I really don't recommend it. It is a misspelling of 'cause.

Also "because ('cause)" is incorrectly placed here. "because" comes before the reason and if you were to use it correctly "Because I'm Japanese, please correct my English."

This sounds fine and is correct, however it can be made to sound more natural.

Here is a better version:

"I'm Japanese, so please correct my English"

I think the reason this sounds better is because using "because" places too much emphasis on the "I'm Japanese" part. "So" is used after the reason, and places a little emphasis on the "please correct my English part."
