Yamato vs Kakashi vs Gai

This or something similar has probably been done before, but I couldn't find anything so here goes.

Yamato vs Kakashi vs Gai in a free for all, all out battle. Kakashi and Gai are both post-time skip, and the battle takes place in the area where Kakashi had his first fight with Zabuza (slightly wooded area with some clear ground and a lake close by).

If I were to really pick a winner I'd pick Kakashi because of his Sharingan.

Gai is strongest here when he uses gates, he could probably beat both of them in 6 gates.

Kakashi is the type to excel in a free-for-all (similar to Orochimaru), because he is very skilled in stealth, feints and jutsu such as bunshin and kawarimi. He also has the advantage that he is the only one of the three to really use genjutsu, and could presumably use that to his advantage if not offensively, at least as a distraction. What I see happening here is that Gai attempts to fight without Hachimon at first, Yamato plays a powerhouse but still fairly reserved Mokuton ninjutsu game, and Kakashi tries to disappear and leave a kage bunshin to skirmish for a little while.

Even when the kage bunshin is inevitably destroyed in the battle, neither Gai nor Yamato will be able to turn their attention to the fact that Kakashi is gone because of the threat of each other. Yamato will have to step up the game a little to increase his chances of catching or harming Gai, who will control the battle mainly by evasion up until now, and this will force Gai to respond with Hachimon – using the first few Gates, most probably. Gai wouldn't use more with Kakashi in the background, and probably wouldn't need more. With the Third Gate his speed will let him begin to dominate Yamato.

Meanwhile, both of them have to stay on the defensive because of Kakashi. Kakashi will either try a double takedown (the unexpected route), using his summons, or he'll just plain wait them out. Either way, he's going to come out winning. It's true that Gai could beat Yamato and still, by merit of being Gai (rather than seriously outmatching Yamato), still be able to go a long way. But he'll be somewhat tired, probably have produced an opening, be in a forest, and be against a Kakashi who has a plan. He'll probably lose.

Gai easily dominates Kakashi with some trouble from Yamato but the end result is the same.

Gai wins again.

I say Kakashi would win. He's the smartest out of the three and would probably step out of the fight and let Yamato and Gai go at it. Then as soon as Gai wins thats when Kakashi will strike.

I think that both the intelligence of Gai and Yamato is being underestimated. Never have they been shown to be idiots and bearing this in mind, I don't think that they would fall for Kakashi's tricks that easily. Gai has the obvious power advantage and should win if he goes 6th gate or over.

We haven't seen enough of Yamato to really decide this battle. All of his battle so far make him looks bad. Eventhough it is just training with Team 7 but he is easily capture by Sai. In this battle I have to discount him out unless he has more under his sleeves, after all he has Shodai Genes. He can use that wood element.

Kakashi dies first. Gai is an honorable man, he will not team up on anyone. So, he will either fight Kakakshi first, or let Yamato fight Kakashi. Either way, Kakashi is dead. Tenzo vs. Gai would be the battle of the ages, epic win against epic win. After a long ordeal, Gai takes the win, after all, whats Tenzo going to do when Gai comes at him... well, you know the rest.

Yamato seemed scared shitless when he first met sasuke. I consider him to be weaker than both Gai and Kakashi. SO he is out of the question, gai or kaka would insta pwn him. Though not sure who would win between these two. KAKashi can blackhole jutsu Gai or gai could release 6 or 7 gates and wtf pwn kakashi.

I really don't know about this fight... it seems they are somehow evenly matched. Kakashi has a bunch of killer moves copied, has the sharingan, and has the chidori. Gai has 8 gates, nun chucks, and awesome taijutsu. Yamato has the 1st's abilities and can create life like wood...

For Gai to use the Hachimon to defeat Kakashi, he needs to be sure that Kakashi has not fooled him with genjutsu or a (kage) bunshin. If Kakashi hides through Gai's ephemeral power boost, then Gai loses all chance he has.

Gai goes 6 gates and rape. Kakashi is certainly dead from the 6 gates but Yamato might be able to trap Gai I suppose but in the end I think Gai would win.
