does anyone know exactly how tsunades bro died?

in the episodes orochimaru said his face was so messed up you wouldn't even recognize him.

Um.

He died in battle, I think. He got confident from being given the necklace so he went out to fight, but got killed from it.

There was a war, the Second Ninja War I believe, and he got into a battle and got brutally murdered.

Never exactly said what kind of damage took down Nawaki, but yes, Orochimaru did say the body would be unrecognizable in the manga as well. Could have been any kind of blunt trauma attack to the face or some sort of explosion.

It is pretty safe to say that Nawaki was hurt in a battle that was happening during that war. :)

Like all the others before me, in battle. I wish they would have expanded upon it, knowing Tsunade she'd probably be the first one out to find who murdered Nawaki.

I'm leaning towards the latter. Ninjas tend to use katon techniques rather than brute force face-2-face combat. But yeah, the manga never explicitly stated what killed the little guy.

Orochimaru did it.

Her bro was his firfst experiment and escaped and Oro had to kill him to keep him quiet. He then conveniently dumped the body on a battlefield and because he wanted someone like Kabuto, he conveniently suggested to the vulnerable Tsunade the notion of medical ninja.

The guy is like the Plot God.
