I haven't read or seen all there is of Bleach, but I came across an anime-pic of Byakuya when he's 'human'. I think he was wearing some kind of a suit.

If he has gone 'undercover' in the human world in the anime or manga, please provide me with the chapter or episode names.

he hasn't, its probably random promo material or from the jump festa extra last year.

It's from the fourth opening I believe, though I'm not sure which episode has Byakuya in the opening from Episode 90.

This YouTube video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=XfJNhZq4XsI) shows all the character stills from the openings toward the end. Since you've already seen the Byakuya one, it probably won't do much for you, but anyone who missed it may want to.

there also have been some manga shorts of things like that....

i remember the bleach movie(?) in the credits showed everybody in normal clothes in the human world.......or was it the OVA 2??

Well in one of the Bonus videos in HTS3 you got him playing Pool in a Suit, aswell as Soi Fon making 10 bullseyes in Dart, Hitsugaya Snowboarding, some other and Ichigo and i think Ishida(perhaps Renji) beeing the cleaners. ^^

I'm willing to bet he was some beggar as a human. It helps explaining how circumstances change and he turned noble in SS.
