I disagree with Miguel Erosennin, Itachi is highly talented in all of the aspects of being ninja, not only in Doujutsu, personaly I think that he WILL become blind but only when he's turning off his sharingan completely, If he activates Mangekyou he CAN see, but just for a little while, until his chakra drains out.

Even blind, Itachi is still teh secks. And as I've said before:
A common misconception about Itachi is that without the Sharingan, he'd be nothing.
I disagree.
He has strategy, incredible weapon accuracy, who knows how many jutsus (I cant really comment on this since we havent seen him use many, but it's fair to say with the copying powers of the Sharingan he knows a few), and can fight hand to hand rather well too (remember how far Kurenai goes flying even when she blocked his kick?) and in the case of his kage bunshin, he created the clone pretty much without anyone noticing. Not to mention how fast he moves, and his chakra control is pretty good too, since he can stand on water while creating a clone, and balance them both effortlessly through the entire process.
Not to mention that his skills developed at a frightening rate in the past, so who knows how strong he is, right now. He's pretty damn well rounded, considering.
