I have been wondering for a while now, when was the last databook published?
There have been a lot of characters introduced since the last, and there hasn't been a databook for a long time now (to my knowledge).
So, if there has been a recent one, I'd like to see it, and if there has not, what happenend?

-In Japan, two databooks have been released.
-The first one was released in 2002, and covered everything from the beginning to the Konoha Invasion
-The second one was released in 2005, and everything from Itachi's return to Kakashi Gaiden
-Everyone is guessing a third databook will be released next year since there's now enough new material, and would fit with the three year intervals

-In February, Viz is releasing a translated databook (which looks like it may a combination of the first two)
Viz is releasing the Fanbook, not the Databooks.

Viz is releasing the Fanbook, not the Databooks. You're right. I checked again, and they are two different things.

This is where they get their information from. And here is where you can DL both Databook 1 and 2.
