Team 8 vs. Hebi with no sasuke

Toughie, I can imagine Juugo overpowering Kiba, and Karin would most likely lose to Hinata.

Shino vs Suigetsu could possibly end up in a tie or Shino somehow winning.

But Juugo seems to be the most key variable here.

Juugo and Suigetsu are the only real threats, but I don't think the numbers advantage will be enough to save Team 8.

Remember, Suigetsu's purpose seems to be for fighting and killing Kisame. Whether or not he can pull it off, he'll probably at least put up a good fight, which is more than Team 8 could do (Kisame would crush them).

Suigetsu and Juugo both are damn fast, as shown in their respective intros. Suigetsu has his hax water ability, and Juugo has power out the ass.

I give it to Team Hebi, though Karin will likely die (neither Juugo nor Suigetsu have shown any inclination towards protecting her, quite the opposite with Suigetsu in fact).

This would be a good fight. I'm not exactly sure who would win. I'm also not sure how they would get around Suigetsu's ability to become water at will. I think Shino bugs would mess with Juugo's curse seal....though I'm not sure.

Hebi FTW. Adding the blood lust just makes it overkill especially with Suigetsu and Juugo when he's in beserk mode.

Hebi would most likely obliterate the entirety of Team 8. Sure they lack teamwork and can't stand each other, but they've got skills(if Sasuke wanted them) and the willingness to kill that would put them over the top. Team 8 stands a better chance if non-impregnated Kurenai is present.

I love Suigetsu and i Love Shino, I cannot decide who will win this one... Its hard to tell, BUT i will say this would be a highly interesting fight in manga/episode form if this is how the manga plays out.

With Suigetsu it will probably take some time and a lot of strategy to get around his water turning ability and his sword, but I think Shino can pull it off.

When has Shino ever shown the type of ability to do that. Hebi would murder Shino. A blood lusted Juugo would be strong, why would Sasuke bother asking him to join Hebi if he wasn't strong. Team 8 would be killed if they fight Hebi.

why would tsunade send team 8 to capture itachi if they were not strong?

you may not think team 8 grew any in comparison to sasuke/naruto but im sure they like hebi are all chunnin/jounin level so its not going to be a rape either way

the weakest member of either side is karin since she is gps while hinatas byakugan gives team 8 possible insight into the real nature of suigetsu.

in the end both teams strength are speculation so i cant say for sure but i will go with the heros just cuz

I know it's a stretch, but Shino is a long distance fighter who uses bugs to fight. Juugo being strong wouldn't have too much affect on him other than making have to evade. Juugo turns into a mindless beast, so it shouldn't be hard for someone like Shino to trap him.

I'd give it to team 8. seeing that they are the better team and would be able to use good team tactics. Karin hate suigetsu as much as adis and when juugo goes apeshit(and he will) He'll target his own teammates.Without sasuke there hebi is screwed.
