One thing that I don't understand about Rika

She never went insane and she wasn't trying to kill Shion. That was C120 (a refined version of C103) It's what Satoko uses to suppress her symptoms.

Rika has shown several dark/insane moments with insane laughs and yells liek the rest of the staff

She killed herself to avoid being slowly tortured to death. Meakashi is a separate world from Watanagashi, although they're almost identical. In Watanagashi she was tortured to death by Shion. (Ignore the scene at the beginning of episode 5. That was a mistake by DEEN) In Meakashi she chose to kill herself to avoid being tortured again.

As to why Rika acts creepy. Maybe she tries to intimidate others so they take her more seriously. The villagers know she's the reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama. By making them believe she is possessed, they would be more likely to listen to what she has to say.

Okay, so she wasn't acting creepy but instead trying to warn him. Then again I don't know what I'm really talking about since I haven't finished the first season, and have yet to start the second one.
