Definitely. XD Hiashi will have problem with his daughter getting involved with an Inuzuka at first, but then Kiba wins him over. :nod

Akamaru is the cupid/middle-man. I think he probably get irritated from times to times because of how slow Kiba and Hinata's relationship is progressing. ^^

I guess they could be kissing and stuff. But no ecchi until marriage!!(is what Hiashi wants to say)

5. Suppose Hinata gets sick...How *well* does Kiba tend to her?

Kiba will make his special rice soup for her. :love

I think it's possible. Maybe just words exchanges like last time, or they fight together in a battle. And Naruto is not with them this time too. :pleased

Discussion!

1. I think Kiba will reach a point where he's just so frustrated with keeping his emotions to himself that he bluntly tells Hinata how he feels. Like, maybe even in the middle of a training session or something.

2. Hiashi would definitely have objections, and I think that if he does accept Kiba and Hinata's relationship it will take a long while. I feel that Hinata has proven herself to her father, but I also feel that she'd have to prove much more to gain acceptance of Kiba and herself. Kiba would also have to work hard to show Hiashi that he is more than worthy of Hinata's love and companionship.

3. Akamaru, Akamaru, Akamaru... I think he'll be the one that will be there for the two for comfort. After an argument, a tough mission, a stressful situation... that's not to say that he's not important though. Of course, he'll be all the time. Hell, I'm wouldn't be surprised that with time Hinata will treat him as if he were their child.

4. Whether they go all out with P.D.A or not, one thing for sure is that Hinata will ALWAYS be embarassed. No matter how comfortable you are with someone, when it comes to P.D.A it's tough. More so with naturally shy people.

They would probably be talking about Naruto, and Kiba is saying something like "Naruto is an idiot to go after someone like Sakura. If I was him, I'd feel like the luckiest guy to have such a beautiful girl like you." Hinata would blush madly, and Kiba would laugh.


2. Will Hiashi have any objections to Hinata dating an Inuzuka?

Most definitely o_o He doesn't want someone, especially a wild Inuzuka, to marry his daughter. But eventually he'd realize how protective and loyal he really is to Hinata, and how she always seems happier when he's around =w=


3. How does Akamaru fit into the grand scheme of things?

He'd try to move things along if the relationship was going a little too slow


4. How touchy-feely do they get? :iria

Sweet, light kisses every now and then :love
Probably a little more after a while. Kiba just wants to respect Hinata feelings =w=

Kiba would try helping her in any way possible. Hinata would protest and say that she's fine and doesn't want to trouble him, but he'd ignore it and just continue tending to her.

I'm not sure... But at the end of the date, I can imagine Kiba and Hinata sitting under a cherry blossom tree as the sun is setting~


7. How would Hinata choose/look for a birthday gift for Kiba?

She'd worry about what to get him xD
But in the end, Kiba would probably say something like "Why did you go looking for a present when I already have it?" and then would lean in to kiss her softly. (Awww~! >w<)

I would re-read the chapter quickly questioning myself, and the squeal loudly to find out it's true. I'd be happy throughout the entire day - maybe the whole week - and mock my friend Nick :hehee be telling my friends excitingly. My friend Jaimie would keep telling me that I'm too obsessed, but I'd ignore her xD

Hiiiiiya guys I am finally back again from holidays and all moved to a new home with my family :D so I can all be active again on one of my fave Fc's of the naruto forums ;)

One word for my holidays AWSOME For everyone here that knows how to ride a horse I am sure you all know what's it like to ride on the beach in full gallop its sooo fantastic

I went to Portugal all by myself flying in a plane but all went well and i was able to enjoy 7 full days of wonderful trails through the nature on a very sweet and calm horse :)

From now on i am back here again on the FC ;)

About the naruto chapter. The chapters are really full of action now which i absolutely enjoy lots :) and did you guys see the new naruto shippuuden opening Kiba and Hinata and all of the teams are in it :D I was like yay finally Kiba back in the opening hahah :giggle:

Anyways, I saw the latest Kiba and Hinata panels in the manga. They give me hope for more interaction between the two :iria

It's one of my biggest reasons to ship KibaHina--the fact that they're always together and always seemed to be singled out in Team 8. Kishi said he's not good at romance, so I think it's very like him to leave incredibly obvious hints like two characters always being beside each other.

Sorry I haven't been around, FC! Midterms and papers are catching up to me, but I plan on being much more active once this week is over!

Anyway, this upcoming fight in the manga seems to have a focus on the next generation, i.e. the Rookie 9. Wouldn't it be great to see Team 8 fighting? And then, on top of that, we get to see some very minor KH action? :amuse

[B]Chippy-Nice fanart finds :iria I'd never seen the last two before (though Kiba's hair looks a lot like an afro in the fourth one, it's still such a cute pic). I really like the fourth one since KibaHina pics with Akamaru always give the couple a family-like appearance.

Which actually brings me to the question...

...from what we've seen of Kiba and his protective tendencies for both Akamaru and Hinata, when KibaHina happens, how will Kiba split his time with Hinata to ensure that Akamaru doesn't feel left out?

I think that the only time they WOULDN'T all be together would be during times where privacy to use the bathroom is needed, and some other private moments between the humans... >.> Other than that I don't see a need for time to be split up.

If anything, I wanted something with Kiba and Hinata dressed ballgown-and-tux-style, as I'd never seen anything like that for this couple. Maybe even a masquerade theme tied in with that. :laugh I think my ideas make no sense at the moment, so that's all I can say for right now.

ahh...no, malheureusement (<-- unfortunately, in French for anyone who doesn't know). There haven't been any new fanarts or updated fics as of late, but I hope that will all change soon (especially since there seemed to be some KibaHina conversation happening recently in the manga).

BUT, we do need to decide whether or not we want to do a poll in the fanart section of NF so that we can vote for the next main fanart/graphic for this FC.

I actually asked to join this club... like last year. XDDD But yeah - hopefully! Ahh I remember college searching last year! I hope it's not nearly as stressful for you as it was for me :amuse

There have been a couple of ultra minipanels with KibaHina conversation a couple of weeks ago, but sadly, nothing else is new.

We are having a poll. The whole process has been a little more complicated than it needs to be: First, most of us nominated our favorite KibaHina fanarts. The poll, btw, is to find a new graphic for our front page. Then out of all the fanarts nominated, we voted on which ones would be put up in a poll. But we had about 13 too many fanarts for a poll to be putup in this FC, so we narrowed it down a couple of days ago to ten fanarts. Now, all that's left is the mods putting up the poll.

Kiba was jumping with unmatchable speed through the forests adjoining the estate. All the while, he was trying to work out the details of his plan. It would be tricky, especially since he didn’t know his enemies’ attack styles. However, he had no other choice given the impromptu break-in.

He was lucky the Hyuuga mansion was surrounded by dense forests. It made for an excellent cover, especially with the only illumination around being the dim moonlight.

“Hanabi’s definitely not in their, right?” Kiba asked the girl he was carrying as he jumped to another branch. He felt Hinata’s head move against his chest.

“I couldn’t detect her, but I still think we should stop, Kiba-kun!” the girl exclaimed.

Although Kiba was too focused on getting away to notice the worried look in her eyes, just listening to her melancholy tone made Kiba realize that running was not something she wanted to do.

Still, it was his job to protect her, and until he made sure his plan was foolproof, he couldn’t let her into the battlefield.

Akamaru let out a small growl as he jumped beside Kiba, but Kiba kept looking forward.

“Sorry, Hinata-sama, but I made a promise to Neji and your father that you and Hanabi-sama would stay safe no matter what.” His eyes never left the foliage of his surroundings.

“Kiba-kun, my father would stay and fight! He’s been training me to protect the clan incase of a break-in like this,” Hinata argued as she looked at the ANBU.

“But have you actually ever had a break-in?” Kiba asked, eyes still focused on the branches ahead of him.

Hinata’s eyes softened for a moment as she mumbled, “No…”

However, her eyes immediately gained a strong composure as she continued, “Father has trusted me to take care of the clan in his absence, and if I could earn his trust, then surely I can battle to protect everyone I care for!”

Kiba stayed quiet as his eyes lowered slightly. He didn’t look at her, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to while he spoke.

“If he thought that, then he wouldn’t have hired me.”

Hinata’s eyes widened, and a new kind of worry swept over her. She clenched her fists at her side, but internally, she knew what her former teammate had said was true.

But she wasn’t going to let him know that! She would not get in their ways and prove him right. She looked upwards, staring at the large moon. She wished it were daylight; staring up to the sun always made her feel just a bit better.

“Do you have a plan, Kiba-kun?” Hinata asked quietly.

“Yes,” the boy answered, still refusing to look at the girl. “I’ll explain everything once we’re far enough.”

X-X-X

Finally, the Inuzuka boy saw a clearing. His speed quickened as he jumped off his last branch and landed in the lush grass. Akamaru followed suit.

Kiba put Hinata down, analyzing everything.

“If they’ve never attacked before, then they waited for Hiashi-kun to leave to make their move. They’re underestimating you as a new leader,” Kiba supplied quickly.

“I don’t think we have time to work out the details of my plan,” he added.

Hinata seemed confused. “Kiba-kun…?” Then her eyes widened, veins bulging, as she realized…

“Kiba-kun!” she warned.

A figure in a black cloak jumped out of the forest with lightning-like speed. He had a viciously sharp dagger in his hand and aimed it directly at Kiba’s back.

For a second, all of Hinata’s weight plunged into her stomach as she thought of how her slow reflexes cost her friend to get hurt.

However, all thoughts of Kiba getting hurt were washed away when she saw him, his back in front of her. The dagger was caught in another dagger that Kiba had pulled out, just inches away from his nose.

Hinata sighed a breath of relief as she tensed herself for battle.

“You’re fast,” the cloaked figure said in a slightly-muffled voice, pressing the dagger deeper into the defense dagger Kiba was using. The cloak was long, and black. It completely covered the shape of the person inside. The ridiculously grotesque spider mask on the figure’s face didn’t help either.

Spider mask, Hinata thought. That was definitely a symbol for a clan notorious for trying to rob the Hyuugas. But which clan…? And were they truly only robbers if they were going this far to get to her?

“Hm. Did you think I didn’t notice you tracking us through the forest?” Kiba asked, pushing the dagger and its holder backwards. The figure jumped backwards, still in the clearing but a good distance between the Inuzuka and the Hyuuga.

“Akamaru and I sensed your presence a while ago, so of course your attack didn’t surprise me, and,” Kiba placed his dagger in a defense position in front of Hinata’s face as Akamaru came to his side. “If it’s a matter of speed, I always win.”

“For a boy who doesn’t know his opponent, your words are very strong,” the cloaked figure laughed. “We shall see.”

In a split-second, the cloaked figure jumped up to the sky.

“Kage bunshin no jutsu!” Another Kiba appeared in front of Hinata, and the first Kiba ordered, “You and Akamaru take care of Hinata.”

And with speed matching that of the cloaked figure, Kiba jumped in the air.

Hinata, despite feeling indignant, knew she had a larger task on hand: Remembering this clan. She knew she had read reports of robbers wearing spider masks attacking caravans that held Hyuuga-clan members. They seemed to only attack those caravans with Hyuuga members. And, Hinata knew that they had some sort of ability that she needed to warn Kiba about. But what?

It had to do with the masks, she remembered. The mask was intricately designed with many wooden holes at the mouth of the mask to…
Hinata remembered.

The figure and the Inuzuka were clashing in the night sky, two little silhouettes against the massive moon.

“I knew Hiashi-sama wouldn’t leave his future clan leader with an amateur caretaker, but your reflexes are most impressive,” the masked man explained as his weapon ground against Kiba’s.

“Well you haven’t seen anything yet!” Kiba replied as he backed away. “I’ve got plenty of stuff to take you down.”

“Foolish boy,” the man replied as he jumped higher in the air, “I said your skills were impressive, however, you are but a persistent little flea to me.”

Kiba wanted to reply to that remark with a slash through the man’s chest, but he never got the chance. Still in midair, Kiba sensed another presence behind him while the cloaked figure was still in front of him.

The Inuzuka turned just in time to see a shadow clone of the cloaked man lunging after him, a little sword in his hands aiming straight for Kiba.

Had he not been an Inuzuka and did not possess an innate speed, he most likely would have been stabbed in the heart.

However, Kiba jumped upwards with less than a millisecond to spare, and as he left the clone slightly confused, he sent a kunai flying straight down at him.

As soon as the kunai (whose speed would’ve caused any “real” being to have at least a few dislodged vertebrae) ripped into the clone, it disappeared in a poof of smoke. Then Kiba’s eyes immediately darted to the real cloaked figure, diving straight towards Kiba’s clone, Akamaru and Hinata.

The masked figure emitted a light blue gas from his mask’s mouth hole as he approached the three beings on the ground. He smirked as the gas surrounded Akamaru and the clone, as well as the Hyuuga girl, though he needed her alive. So he stopped the gas emission when he landed on the ground, again a good distance away from the girl.

All he had to do was wait as he saw the blue clouds from his emission surround the little clearing, but still not near him. This particular gas was potent enough to take anyone out, regardless of their bloodline.

“HA!”

The cloaked figure looked up, slightly surprised when he saw the ANBU boy, actually still alive, charging at him from ahead. The masked man transported himself, but Kiba was prepared for this and immediately landed on his feet.

Kiba looked at the blue gas slowly encompassing the entire clearing. The masked man was clearly trying to keep away from it; therefore Kiba realized how strong this chemical must have been.

“It’s no use, boy,” Kiba snapped behind him to see the cloaked figure walk out of the forest.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Kiba asked indignantly, keeping his dagger sharp in his hand.

“Well, you yourself won’t go near my precious blue gas. You must know how toxic it is, and that is why you must know that the Hyuuga heiress is doomed.”

“Kiba-kun!”

Slightly startled, the cloaked figure turned to the source of the voice. As the figure did so, Kiba got his chance.

“Garoga: Piercing fang!” With the ferocious speed that Inuzuka’s were known for, Kiba started spinning rapidly, immediately, thrusting the blue gas away from the clearing. Because this attack still wasn’t as fast as his Double fang attack, he could still sense his opponent’s chakra.

The tornado that was Kiba Inuzuka rammed straight into the masked man, and stabbed him above his left shoulder with his dagger. Kiba quickly came to a stop and waited.

The cloaked figure backed up, clutching his wound which was now bleeding profusely. His attention immediately shifted to Hinata, still surrounded by Akamaru and the clone.

The gas had subsided thanks to Kiba’s attacks, but it had still been present long enough to send the Hyuuga girl into a deep state of unconsciousness, almost comatose. Yet here she was, standing strong as if nothing had ever touched her.

Injured, the cloaked figure was a little slow in pulling out his kunais from his sleeve. He threw it as swiftly as his good arm could, aiming straight for Hinata’s head.

However, his slight delay in pulling out the kunais was all Hinata needed.

“Hakkesho Kaiten: Heavenly Spin!” green circles glowed around Hinata, Akamaru and the clone, and Hinata started rotating with speed almost matching that of Kiba’s, easily deflecting the weapons.

The injured man glared through the eye holes in his spider mask.

“So you had a shield setup this entire time?” he asked when Hinata stopped spinning and the shield faded out.

“She created it as soon as you started releasing your blue gas, but from your angle you didn’t notice. Its deflecting powers are only activated when she’s spinning, though the shield’s been active all along,” Kiba enlightened, once again holding his dagger out to his opponent. “From my vantage point in the sky, I saw her and figure’d she’d be immune to the gas’s potency.”

“I…I recalled your spider mask,” Hinata explained, a very, very faint blush gracing her cheeks. “You’re part of the Supaida-kumo clan, and your skills are with emitting lethal substances through your masks!”

“Smart girl. You’ve done research on possible enemies,” the masked man acknowledged. “My analysis of the future Hyuuga leader had underestimated you.”

“Yeah? Well you’ll have plenty of time to analyze in the Kohona jail!” Kiba cried as another clone immediately appeared behind the enemy. The clone grabbed the masked man from under the shoulders, however, the injured man smirked underneath his hideous mask.

“Now that I’ve seen the extent of your abilities, I’ll be sure to never underestimate you again,” the cloaked figure said ominously. “Until we meet again, Hyuuga!”

“What the-” Kiba was interrupted when the cloak man cried.

“Kisoku Bakuretsu: Explosive Breath!” A bright white gas escaped the spider mask’s mouth hole and within a second, there was an explosion.

Luckily, Kiba, Hinata, Akamaru and Kiba’s clone had jumped into the forest’s protective foliage beforehand.

“He can use explosives to mask at attack,” Hinata observed as the flames reflected in her bright eyes.

“Hinata! Oi, Hinata!” Hinata turned to see Kiba a moment later land on the branch beside her. Kiba called back his clone and smiled at Hinata.

“It seems I didn’t need a clone or Akamaru to protect you,” he said as he looked at the girl. “You were great, Hinata!”

Hinata lowered her eyes and blushed very softly at the compliment. “Thank you, Kiba…Wait, no, Hanabi!”

Hinata’s eyes widened as she remembered the missing presence of her sister. She looked at Kiba, panicking.

“Kiba-kun, we need to find her!” Her hands were twiddling with each other as she thought of where Hanabi could be at this very moment.

“Alright, Hinata, let’s get back to the house and see if she’s there!” Kiba said. As the two teenagers were about to leap away, they heard a voice.

“Hinata-neesan!”

Hinata nearly cried as she saw her sister land on the branch in front of her.

“Hanabi,” Hinata said as she grabbed her younger sister and hugged her.

“Neesan, I heard the explosion. Did you kill one of the intruders?”

Hinata shook her head. “No, they used the explosion as a tactic to get away. They mentioned that they would see me again.”

“So they’re going to come back,” Hanabi said.

“Exactly,” Kiba noted. “Hanabi, did you see if they left the house?”

Hanabi nodded. “As soon as I returned to the mansion, I heard the explosion. It seems the explosion triggered the rest of the intruders in the house to leave. They exited using the Southern Gate, and after I made sure that they were indeed gone, I found you.”

“They’re of the Supaida-kumo clan,” Hinata explained to her sister.

Hanabi’s eyes went stern for a second as she tried to remember. “They can emit toxic gases.”

Hinata nodded. “Aside from capturing us, he made no other references to his purpose.”

“And I’m not even sure if it’s Hanabi that he’s after,” Kiba explained. “Every time he mentioned taking you, he referred to you as the future Hyuuga clan leader, or the clan heir. I think that’s what he’s after, rather than simply kidnapping a member of the Hyuuga clan.”

A brief moment of silence passed as Hanabi and Hinata took in this news.

“I suggest we sweep the grounds of the estate again and then you two should get some rest. I’ll guard the house for the night,” Kiba said.

Hinata and Hanabi nodded, and the three humans went off, Akamaru following closely behind.

Kiba leaned against the doorway, and he had to admit, he was impressed. Being with the ANBU for three years, he supposed he had forgotten that other, non-ANBU shinobi existed with great skills, as well.

That’s why, as he stared at the Hyuuga heiress lying in her bed, he had a small smile on his face. She was mastering the skills of protecting her clan as well as refining her fighting techniques. She was setting a great balance, and he was proud of her for that. After seeing her struggle with so many hindrances throughout her early teen years, he was glad to see the end product of all her work.

Kiba stepped closer to her bed. She would probably be asleep for a few more hours, as it was still dark outside and the first of the sun’s rays had only begun to show.

He couldn’t remember if he’d ever been in her room before. He had been in her house, once, when Hiashi asked Kurenai-sensei to show him Hinata’s fellow teammates. Hiashi didn’t exactly fall in love with Kiba and Shino when he had first met them: After all, one walked around with a dog and the other talked to bugs.

But Hiashi’s opinions didn’t matter. Hinata seemed to be fond of her team, and so did Shino, and Kiba liked them too. Kurenai told them all she was proud of each of them, and that she was honored to be their leader.

They’d been Team 8. A little family that had always stayed together, until they all needed to part into their respective paths.

Kiba stopped just a few inches in front of her bed. He really would’ve loved to go back to the good old days and try to preserve the days of their youth with simple missions and just trying to get to know each other.

Kiba felt a very floral smell coming into his nose. He sniffed a little more. It smelled like hundreds of different flowers. He hadn’t smelt it when he first came into the room…what could it have been?

He then noticed a large, leather-bound book sitting atop of Hinata’s bedside table. It had her name written in small, silver kanji across the front cover.

Curious, Kiba picked up the book and opened it up. Ahh…so that was where the smell was coming from.

He had always known Hinata loved to pick flowers and then press them inside large books. It was a habit of hers to pick exotic flowers whenever they went on faraway missions. This book was apparently where she kept all of them.

Every page seemed to hold a beautiful, eternally preserved flower. It smelled almost as great as it looked. She sure seemed to have a time-consuming hobby. This book had to have at least a few hundred different flowers, and there was at least half the book left to fill.

“Kiba-kun?”

Kiba’s eyes widened and he nearly dropped the book when he heard her voice.

“Kiba-kun…what are you doing?” Hinata asked, blinking as she got the tiredness out of her eyes. She was now fully sitting up.

“Oi…Hinata.” He figured it was too late to tell her that she was just dreaming, so he sighed.

“Umm…I just came in here to make sure you were alright, you know? Hanabi’s fine, and you’re fine, so I’ll just leave.” Kiba turned to leave, but Hinata’s voice stopped him.

“Do you like my scented library, Kiba-kun?” Hinata asked.

“Excuse me?” Kiba’s eyes widened again, mind racing with not-so-innocent thoughts.

“My book of flowers,” Hinata, as pure and untouched as a spring flower, answered. “You’re still holding it.”

Kiba turned around and realized that he did indeed still have the book in his hands. “This…yeah, Hinata, it’s really something. You probably have more flowers than I can count in here,” he said as he placed the book back beside her bed.

“Is picking flowers what you do in your free time these days?” he asked, noticing the bittersweet stare Hinata was giving the book.

“Ahh…no, Kiba-kun. These were all picked from before I left Team 8,” she sighed.

“You must’ve picked every flower you saw,” Kiba replied. Hinata nodded.

“Something like that, Kiba-kun. I wanted it to be special, I mean, I want it to be special. It hasn’t been completed yet.” She once again had a strange look in her eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Kiba asked as he sat down on her bed.

Hinata picked up the book and looked through all the empty pages. “It’s so empty, Kiba-kun, and I wish I could finish it. But…the obligations to the clan are so much more important…it’s hard to fit flower-picking in there.”

“Is that it?” Kiba smiled, revealing his fangs. Hinata looked up, confused.

“Well, we’ll just have to find some time for ya to get those flowers one of these days. Even if it means stealing you away from one of those boring meetings so you can do it,” Kiba explained.

“It’s not that important, Kiba-kun,” Hinata reminded. “Please don’t worry over it.”

“If it’s something that makes you happy, then sure it’s important!”

“I know my place as the future clan leader,” Hinata said. “Family duties come before flowers.”

Kiba folded his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. “Quit talking like that. You sound a little like Neji.”

Hinata smiled as Kiba opened his eyes. “Kiba-kun, I appreciate your concern.”

“I appreciate your happiness. Isn’t that part of my job as bodyguard?”

“I don’t think so, Kiba-kun…”

Kiba dropped his hands at his side. “Well, then…it is now! Whatever it takes to keep you from acting like your cousin.”

Hinata’s smile grew. Hesitantly, she reached one of her dove-like hands over and touched his.

“Thank you, Kiba-kun.”

The first few rays of the day came into the room, illuminating it with a brilliant white light.

I like Pokeshipping, there was plenty of romance there. And AdvanceShipping because it has it's moments (although I do admit ContestShipping is cute too). I can't stand Dawn either Her skirt is way to small it almost rivals Ino's, mostly I don't like her because she's too... girlish compared to Misty and May.

Yeah, I can see that, you keep the FC very active farihstar :amuse Sort of unfair, Kiba and Hinata has a more of a chance than NaruHina (Naruto and Hinata may interact more but... err, Kishi isn't exactly favouring it lately) then again it's mostly flooded with spam and flames but I'm not Anti-NaruHina nor is this the Anti-NaruHina FC.

Then again I get to intimidated if too many people post. I barely ever post in the SasuSaku FC because there's so many posts.

I'll hope we get a few panels with Team 8, but for now lets just be thankful for the fillers we have.

Believe it or not, I stick to my guns that KibaHina may happen (if Kishi decides to show us an epilogue for Minor Characters/Team 8). I don't think it's crack at all--which, unfortunately, many KH detractors like to say. Hinata's actually got the most comfortable relationship with Kiba than she has with any other character in the series. And she's the only living thing besides Akamaru that Kiba has shown a profound care for (the Kiba <--> Shino/Kiba <--> Kurenai bonds haven't been nearly as developed as the Kiba --> Hina bond).

For example, it the Find Sasuke/Get Itachi arc, Hinata stuttered to almost everyone she spoke to except Kiba, to whom she actually sorta made fun of ("You just side-stepped him, Kiba-kun!") I dunno if Kishi did this on purpose or whatnot, but it's these little things that make me squee believe there's more to these Chuunin than meets the eye.

By the way, this is a little off-topic but it should be clarified:

Absolutely no bashing of any pairing is allowed here. If you want to compare NaruHina or another couple to KibaHina, then by all means make a valid, well-written comparison but do not denounce another couple in the process. The same goes for character bashing. I will not be happy if I see any sort of hate in this FC.

It's mostly because I've seen a lot of Naruto and/or Sakura bashing in a lot of KibaHina sites outside of NF. Normally it takes the form of fanfictions hosted on the sites that are from Hinata's POV...and I have to admit, I've seen my fair share of both these characters bashed in the wrong FC's here on NF. Like I said, we don't see it here in this fanclub, but if I do, I will personally report the user to the mods. I have an abnormally high hatred for uncalled for bashing.

As far as I know Kishi said that he's hoping that Hinata will get her chance. But Hinata is a character he created. I doubt he hates her and I'm also sure he knows that Hinata likes Naruto (<-lol!), so saying that he doesn't want Hinata to have her chance would be...kinda evil. If I was Kishi, I'd say the same.

And as for the SasuNaru thing. SN fans always quote ...something (article or whatsover) but so far I've NEVER seen the source provided, so I think it's fake.

I must admit, though, this week's omake was incredibly cute. Hinata running after Kiba...almost like, "Wait, don't leave me!" (Notice she felt that way when Kiba left, but left poor lil Shino all by his lonesome. She loves Kiba subconsciously, I tell ya! :yell)

I know you weren't, but just so you know...

This omake was interesting to say the least. The animators once again focused on Kiba<-->Hinata interaction but left Shino alone like they did with the omake we got last year around this time (the one whose screenshot is currently the main banner).

Not only did we have Kiba seeming a little miffed at Hinata's crush/feelings for Naruto, Hinata chased after him! Even if it's all filler, it's always nice to see some Hina-->Kiba action.

But really, the animators continuously focus on the Kiba and Hinata part of Team 8. It's odd...I'm really beginning to think they know something about the end couples of Naruto and are trying to familiarize them with the audience. Am I crazy for thinking so?

I don't think you're crazy, but I think the more likely scenario is fanservice and them showing what they think is going to happen.

after all, right after the ShikaTema Omake, we get the end credits which basically scream NaruSaku ShikaIno...not to mention all the fanservice that that particular pairing has been getting lately. Not a fan or anything, it just is so.

The above is the reason I don't think that they know for certain how it is going to end. However, the manga and anime don't always end the same. Therefore, the anime may have a different direction. If Kishi doesn't do any pairings but one in the end, they may just pair up all the lose ends.

I still say Kibahina has a decent chance..kiba's the only one i've seen who actually has reallycared about Hinata's well being beyond sticking up for her ideals like Naruto.., if If they were to get closer because of something that happened i can't say i'd have a problem with it :pek after all, feral guys and shy girls are my forte ^^

That's why I really like the pairing. He seems to be the sort of guy she likes, plus he cares about her feelings and knows her. Although it is filler and Omakes, I think that they are represented very well throughout them as that is exactly how I imagine they would behave.

KibaHina was my first Naruto couple, and has continued to stay throughout part 2.

It makes me read the manga a bit funny, though.

I think that he mindlessly attacked Madara, for example, because he was trying to show-off in front of Hinata since you-know-who was getting all the attention. :hehee I wonder how that will be portrayed in the anime.
