For me it would have to be someone interested in similar dorky matters and has a healthy sense of humor in regards to that and all other things. Aside from that, taller than myself (not really a difficult matter considering I'm quite short), creative (could be any outlet, although written words appeal to me over other forms such as visual art), and mostly nice. The last point is flexible, I would find it acceptable and fully reasonable if something infuriating spurs a response full of sarcastic wit. Oh, and most importantly, they have to be good in social situations, as that is my major weakness.

3. Common sense (Intelligence is great, but if there's no practicality to the person... they're just a big undersocialized kid)
4. Good sense of humor (I like to laugh, and guys... a good sense of humor is like gold for a girl)
5. Ambitious and assertive (Put that intelligence and common sense to work and make something of yourself. Noone wants a slacker. Just remember to not overdo it... noone likes a demanding ass either)
6. Is not TOO mature about life (There's such a thing as being too mature for your own good. Lighten up and have some fun)
7. Adventurous. (Try new things... do new things... don't just run with the pack)

At very least, someone I can really really get along with. Someone who always has something interesting to say and can engage me intellectually, like with a serious conversation. Someone I can never feel awkward with, like more of a best friend than a boyfriend. I tend to make situations awkward just by being nervous, so he needs to be confident and outgoing enough to change the atmosphere entirely.

But if I just want to be picky, someone with really good, preferably long[beyond ear length, usually], hair.
