But, to try something more specific--have there been any moments lately where you or someone around you does something really loud and/or stupidly obvious, and then you chuckle and think to yourself afterward, "Man, that was so Aoba"?

I know it happens to me on almost a daily basis. Last night I was playing Wii Sports tennis, and someone hit the ball at me, and it came so fast I wasn't prepared and I went down swinging the Wiimote like a crazy person. And as I collapsed to my knees, a small part of me was thinking to myself, "Self, Aoba would be proud."

No one knows where, when or why the cult of Aoba emerged, but our best sources indicate that in September of 2004, a somewhat questionable fanclub was formed in NF dedicated to the worship of this random side character, based on the infamy gained when he accidentally caused the entire second half of the series by letting it slip to Sasuke that Itachi was back in town. Often compared to Jesus and/or Chuck Norris, Aoba has been speculated by various members of the forum to be the Akatsuki Leader, the third Mangekyou Sharingan user, Yondaime, and Uchiha Madara, sometimes all four at once. Confirmed canon abilities include the power to slam doors open in people's faces, the ability to summon a murder of crows in order to cover foes with bird shit, and the ability to scream confidential information at the top of his lungs like an idiot.

A Challenger Appears

Aoba's fame on the Naruto Forums has occasionally clashed with that of Kisame, the double-dicked shark renowned for his sexy good looks and masterful skill in the bedroom. On occasion, fandom has pitted the two against each other with the intention of determining a true victor once and for all, but the general consensus remains that while Kisame is indeed sexier, Aoba could still kick his ass from here to Kansas and back. I just realised that Aoba didnt just save naruto and the world from akasuki back in 80 something, he also saved Tsunade, the village and the world again. Because if Aoba has not indirectly saved naruto, Tsunade would of healed Orochimarus arms, who would of then destroyed Konoha and taken sasuke without him being able to resist. Orochimaru would then have become Uber and would be pretty much undefeatable.

And maybe they'll get themselves in a pinch somehow, and the enemy will throw a few kunai with exploding tags in their midst, and Genma will see them just barely in the nick of time and yell, "EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" and they'll explode and when the smoke clears Aoba will run over and he'll see Genma wounded and yell "GENMA!!!" all dramatically, and Genma will whisper "Aoba... And maybe they'll get themselves in a pinch somehow, and the enemy will throw a few kunai with exploding tags in their midst, and Genma will see them just barely in the nick of time and yell, "EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" and they'll explode and when the smoke clears Aoba will run over and he'll see Genma wounded and yell "GENMA!!!" all dramatically, and Genma will whisper "Aoba... I took them as far as I could... it's all up to you now..." in a manly "'sup, I'm injured" whisper, and Aoba will cry some manly tears and shout, "THOSE BASTARDS! THEY KILLED HIM! GENMA! I just didn't want to get caught up in the FC stuff quite yet but I am good now. I am glad the first one I joined was for the true powerhouse in Naruto.
