There are too many resource consuming humans in the world to even think of being able to save the world. Next stop is Mars, or else we'll run out eventually. Just look at how much Amazon rainforest has been cut down so far for farming.. Just think, in 40 years there will be 9 billion people.

I don't think it is annoying at all. It is a serious problem and it is sad that most governments shift environmental concerns to the back of the agenda, in pursuance of greater economic growth. They say that they would tackle environmental issues once they attain a stable level of economic growth. But that is rather dumb coz most countries strive to always attain a better economic growth rate, so environmental concerns will always be relegated to the back.:(
