This arc was good but I felt the Satoko part dragged on a bit too long. It's a pain in the ass to free because she's so stubborn.

True. I really didn't like the "save Satoko" sub arc. Even with Keiichi's KOOL antics, I felt bored with it. And that's why I didn't felt bad when she was asked the "vegetable question" before she got shot. :P
When it shifted to the festival, things started to become so damn good. Facts about the Hinamizawa Syndrome, finding out who's the real mastermind, and seeing all of our main cast duking it out with You-Know-Who and company... simply make up for a pure win.
Most notable part of this arc was when Rena even had the guts to laugh at gunpoint. :gar

I liked seeing the arc... Though I knew I was going to hate you-know-who for what she was going to do at the end of the arc. Besides that though it was good. I wonder if Oryou is going to remember Keiichi's badassness in Matsuribayashi-hen?

Oh yes, Oryou-san will never forget that GAR moment with K1 for the rest of her life. She'll die gladly knowing that there was one unlikely person who stood up against her.

Yeah, true. But episode 18 made it a point. Minagoroshi-hen could have ended things right there if Hanyuu was just there for them and not being pessimistic and all. Rika was also pessimistic until Keiichi showed her who's boss.
I said this when Kai started, but knowing what she did in Meakashi-hen, seeing Shion being so close and kind with Satoko was definitely a WTF-moment. Yeah, so I guess that's where she shines.

Damn that droopy-tan though. If not for her they could have made it to the new future and Keiichi would have remained GAR. Hopefully you're right though and the reset doesn't erase that moment for Oryou.
