This is the first arc that made me somewhat bored. Seeing Akasaka wasn't really entertaining compared to the other characters. This is definitely the slowest part of the series. I love the end though. Rika is more than meets the eye.

Young Rika was incredibly cute. I enjoyed this arc soley because of her. The end was sad though.

I think Youko is going to say otherwise since this arc had lot of airtime for Rika. :P

Anyway, I also have to say that Himatsubushi-hen was totally a change from the WTF-fest of the three previous arcs. I was like, "Where the hell is Keiichi and his bat!?"

I think this was the first time Kuro Rika talked, and I admit, I got goosebumps when she requested Akasaka to leave.

Well, the rest was rather boring, but still important stuff.

Not exactly my favorite arc but I thought it was great insight on Hinamizawa's history. I had waited for an arc focused on Rika and this was great. I had a feeling something about her would show up because of the supposed "split personality" and also from hearing Yukarin's voice during the previews. What can I say besides.... exquisite.

It didn't really bore me. I mean come on it was two episodes. In any case Akasaka was plenty cool, and it was awesome to see just how much Rika was connected to this mystery.

It's funny, even after watching this I still didn't know what was up with Rika.

What don't you get?

No, no, I understand perfectly now. It's that I didn't get it before. Her change of personality. Of course that was pretty much something of a mystery until Kai when we find out she's actually "reborn" in a sense.
