This arc is just crazy, it throws one big twist after another. It's definitely the most confusing.

They do say Tatarigoroshi is the most confusing and depressing.

This was the arc the DEEN royally screwed up on... if I remembered correctly. This was also the arc that made people drop/hiatus this series.

I thought it was one of the weaker ones in the series. When I first watched it, I thought the mood it set up was really good. Then when I watched it again, I realized it got... messed up. I was disappointed they never showed the KOOL K moment.

DEEN made Keiichi a freaking idiot, especially during the last episode of the arc. And a bunch of other important stuff was left out.

If memory serves, I think I was shocked to see Keiichi getting smacked across the classroom by Satoko. That and charging up his batteries at Teppei. Probably the creepiest thing ever from this arc was when Miyo drove Keiichi home and asked him if he had buried "it" properly. I think I got goosebumps from that line alone.

Also, I thought Ooishi was a fucking asshole in this arc, which I normally don't see in him.

True. That scene with Keiichi and Miyo in the car... creepy. If I were in Keiichi's place, I'd be so freaked out. But now we all know that there was more going on in that scene. I mean, with the blue bike and all. :nod

I admit, that alone was the only great thing about Tatarigoroshi-hen. I also find this arc the weakest among the six arcs from season one.
