And of course, that would probably be the same for us. Who can't resist Hanyuu when she goes all cute and all in a school uniform? :awesome

Those are the game 'Pieces' that were covered in those episodes I think.

The Pieces are bonus stories in the game which unlock as someone proceeds through the game. They explain some of the loose ends and mysteries that would've remained unresolved without them and add some characterization.

The death of Satoko's parents or the murder of Rika's parents are some of the things that are explained in them.

I recommend going through and reading the pieces since they give a lot more detail than the anime showed. Or if that's too much, I highly recommend you at least read the ones they didn't show.

Finally seen Episode 18. The pieces are set and all that's left is the final arc. Wonder who this ends?

Anyway, I have some things in mind...

-So, what happened to Satoshi after he went L5? Did Miyo dissected him or something? IMO, I don't think anything "good" happened to him after that scene at the clinic.
-Still confused on how Ichirou was able to see Hanyuu. And Ichirou's face should have been shown with the beard and all. :P
-Oryou-san has entered the deredere phase in this episode - definitely a big change from her usual scary self. She really made it sound like Keiichi is made up of pure :gar.

Can't wait for the next episode. As I said, the preview suggest a whole lot of fun. :nod

Well, she could really be a nice and kind person to begin with. We were made to believe that she's evil and heartless. And I admit, I appreciate her character now. She's so GAR for an old lady.

I mean, recall that episode in Minagoroshi-hen when Keiichi and Oryou met for the first time, and after hearing her thoughts in this episode about the coming of a "fresh wind"... she was really expecting someone more GAR than her to come to the village. For all we know, she would help Keiichi to get in a relationship with Mion. :P

That's your opinion, Higurashi imo was way more exciting when one of them became loco and ran around doing fucked up stuff.
Shion fuckin up Satoko in the torture chamber was fuckin prime, or when Keichi became delusional and beat Mion and Rena to death with the baseballbat, and when we got that flashback we're we saw that they only tried to paint him in the face it was just excellent.
Kai has yet to have any moments like this.
