Welcome to Norman Ninja Fanclub.

You may remember during the Chunin Exams that right up the front sat a most unusual looking Ninja. He didn't move, he didn't talk, he didn't have a name until now...

Norman Ninja

Norman shows us that anyone can be a Ninja. He represent those of us who are normal and mature in age. He is a normal older Ninja.




I have recently done some research, after looking at the Data Book I found Norman. Norman does have a name Akado Manabu he is 38 and is an 18 year veteran of the Chunin Exam.

What is most amazing is Norman sits up the front of the Chunin Exam right infront of Ibiki... And he passes when u see the episode he is still seated...
Not only did Norman Cheat.. but he did it se well that Ibiki couldn't see him do it...
Also question 10.... Norman wouldn't put up his hand..

However it's not the best because that honor belongs to the Aoba fanclub. Aoba's the Akatsuki leader, but I think Norman must be his right hand man. Do you read the Manga or watch the Anime or BOTH..

I read and watch the ANIME... I try my hardest to read the Japanese but there are some words I need a dictionary for.....

Watching the Anime in Japanese is awesome... The translations in English can miss small detail...... Sometimes I just read the Subtitles but sometimes I just listen to Japanese and guess about 10-12% of it.... but the Japanese isn;t to hard unless they talk about technical stuff....

Anyway.....

The short answer is that I don't have a life. The longer answer is that I haven't started my job, I don't study for classes as they are all physics classes and there really isn't anything to memorize in there, just things that you have to understand, which has never been a problem for me, and my last GF dumped me seven months ago. All my friends live four hours north of me, and I have no illusions about trying to make friends in hickville, USA cause I hate most of the people here. That leaves me with few things to occupy my time, with NF.com being one of them.

Norman probably knows how you feel though and sympathizes with you.

Well...

I have a beard.... and I have Holidays coming up and my girlfriend would love it if I trimmed. So.. I will wear a vest and wear my mustache and post it hahhaa...

Whatever the manager of resturants and pubs tells us to play (normally a set list of songs), which is mostly really old, overplayed stuff (like 'Swing, Swing' by All-American Rejects, and that 'I love Rock 'n' Roll' song... aaargh :notrust ). We get the occasional groupie though, and people seem to enjoy buying the band drinks, so it's not all bad.

Away from that, the band I are trying to do something different. South African music is flooded with pop-punk & pop-rock music. I want to play music that I would enjoy listening to, not just for sake of making money. I listen to a lot of different music all the time (especially Asian Kung-Fu Generation... they rock!), so nobody is too sure on what style we're going to play. I actually hoping we don't stick to a style, and just play different styles all the time (i.e. rage against the machine, audioslave, a perfect circle, incubus, foo fighters). I'm actually itching to get a acoustic song done, but it's hard work not to sound cliched.

Well, that was a wild rambling. I'm taking away the focus from Norman here. Better stop with the endless talking. Back to the Norm!

Agreed. I don't really enjoy playing other people's music either, it just doesn't seem right to me. Most of it I can't really relate to either, so I just play it for the sake of playing it. I haven't found any music that has moved me emotionally for ages now. Nirvana was a huge influence in teenage years, but since then, nothing has caused a major spark (except for the occasional band that releases an awesome album, then sellout when they release next one).

I'm thinking about doing a couple of Beatles songs the next time we play live. Good music never grows old.

I have become quite engrossed with the Ancient Egpytian culture now. I've been reading tons of different books, just so I fully understand the mythology */geek*. The weather was fierce, at a standard 40°C everyday. The only downside was the locals. They're a bunch of crooks. Everyone we met there seem to be after my money. The tourist sites are amazing, and it was worth the trip to see it.

Still downing my music thing. Playing another gig tonight. Unfortunately, it's all pop tunes right now, but I'm trying to get the band to do The Beatles' "I've Got A Feeling"... ala Beck style (I dig that version so much!).

I'd like to see Norman in the chuunin exams again. It's been hinted at that Naruto will go through them again, and I think it'd be hilarious for Norman to be there and actually get to the finals. Maybe even finally become a chuunin.
