Satoko said that, but it seems the real reason is she fears that Teppei will defile Satoshi's room, which is understandable for me since he threatened to burn it.

Satoko is adorable. The only problem is the other Higurashi kids are also extremely lovable. I love Satoko but there are others that I love more so. Out of the 7 kids there are none that I even remotely dislike. Its rare for me to like every member of the main cast in an anime.

Anyway, I've seen Satoko revieve a fair amount of love from /a/.

I think she's beautiful, sexy, and brilliant. Additionally, her desire and her will are very attractive. I guess, basically, I love a woman who knows what she wants and stops at nothing to get it.

Anyway, Takano definately is a genius. She kinda hot too but her mannerisms are a bit "meh" for my tastes.

What really made me dislike her was how she killed innocent kids. She killed Keiichi, Rena, and Mion, ignored Shion's wishes, played that cruel quiz on Satoko and killed her anyway. She gutted Rika alive and no one, I repeat, no one badmouths Hanyuu.

She grew up in an orphanage where children were beat and scared out of their minds. She should know better. Takano should know what its like to be helpless. She's heartless, selfish, and only cares about herself. Thats why I don't like her but its cool if she's or favorite character.

Yeah! I was really surprised Hanyuu was so low. You all seem to love her.........massively xD

I like her but she doesn't have a solid place in the group of friends (yet). She still seems like an outsider to me, which just doesn't give her as much of a "cozy, homely" feeling. Hauu Hauuuuu is so awesome though. They just have to make sure it isn't overdone, like nipah almost was.

As for Keiichi, I voted for him! I think he kinda shined a little early on. But he's just not a cute and/or psycho girl... so he doesn't get <3

Keiichi is the wind that blows out the old air. He makes change without having knowledge of the past.

Rika's cool and all, but little all knowing characters are palyed out. I wonder how the story would play out if we only got view of her from Keiichi's eyes. The character delving was a needed evil as that would be too mysterious.
