Asuma Sarutobi vs Kimimaro

Kimimaro is sick, and Asuma is healthy. Kimimaro knows all of Asuma's abilities, and Asuma knows a little bit of Kimimaro (he knows he's a member of the Sound with a Kekkei Genkai)

Both are extremely bloodlusted, and the fight takes place on the Sannin Battlefield.

It's been done before. Asuma's blade can go through Kimi's bones and disable his weapons. Horrible match up. Why are you letting Kimi know of his abilities?

Asuma will have a tough time, but he's still likely to be stronger and he has an answer to Kimi's blood line. I give it to him.

Anyway, Asuma seems to have lost A LOT of respect since Hidan.

It's not that he has a lot of respect 'since hidan' he has a lot of respect from random feats and the fact that he's a jonin in general.

He kept up blow for blow with Kisame. He defeated 10 random ninja in the time it took to flick a cigarette. He also went blow for blow with Hidan and would have WON if it wasn't for the beast that is Kakuzu.

Kimimaro is a beast, but if you have an ability which can negate some of his offensive capabilities and can pierce his defensive ones then you just have to be able to keep up with him. Asuma has shown feats of speed that should be at least around Lee's level, which means he can keep up with Kimimaro. So Asuma has a realtively easy time winning.

Hidan would have WON if Shikamaru didnt bind him before he was going to kill Asuma. True though Asuma is pretty strong and he should be able take out Kimimaru.

I dont think he could extend his knives that much Pre Time Skip.

That's another thing I was thinking about. That he didn't know how to extend them.

Of course, if it was post skip, and they had that confrontation again, Asuma would've destroyed him with one attack due to Kisame's foolishness.

kimimaro being underated much? even if the knives can slice through his bones, kimi still knows about his ability thanks to vance. he can spam his finger bones or simply catch him with his spine whip, then extendo- stick his bones throughout Asuma. think of the steel spiked monsters from resident evil 4.

the finger bullets couldn't even hit pre-skip Lee and you expect them to be effective against Asuma?

Do you expect Asuma to let Kimi get that close? Do you understand the advantage Asuma has? Kimi can NOT touch the blade of wind. As long as those are there Kimi HAS to dodge them, blocking won't work. he can't even parry them with his bones.

Asuma doesn't have to be close, and Asuma is more than fast enough to dodge anything Kimi can throw at him, including dance of the seedling ferns.

Kimi isn't being underrated, he's being rated just fine. I don't think Asuma would rape stomp Kimi, but the longer the battle goes the heavier it goes into Asuma's favor, and I can't see Kimi being able to defeat Asuma easily. This is all Asuma.
