One Piece will end in a fashion that makes history.

Oda has been building up factions throughout the series. He is holding several powerful factions and numerous infamous characters in reserve and out of Straw Hats' path thus far.
However, hell shall be unleashed in the grand finale.

I predict that the finale will be the final war of Grand Line. The entire might of the Navy, Yonkou, Shichibukai, Revolutionary, all remaining pirate fleets within the Grand Line and the Straw Hats shall clash, all for the sake of the final multi-way war. The participants will number in the millions and thousands in warships. The location of the battle shall be Raftel, the last island of the Grand Line. All factions will race against time with separate goals in mind. While some will head for the said location of One Piece, some will attempt to revive one of the ancient weapons, and some will attempt otherwise in midst of chaos. All shall fight for their own gains. Few shall emerge victorious, millions shall perish.

One Piece will conclude with the following results: Luffy crowned the Pirate King; Zoro becomes the World's Greatest Swordsman; The final battle will result in the destruction of all Pirates on the Grand Line, hence ending the Age of Pirates and the title of Pirate King becomes of little value; The Elder Five perish, the World Government dissolves. The 170 nations that were associated with the World Government go into a state of instability and eventually World War - the result of Dragon's shadowy manipulation as he hopes to one day create a New World Government, with himself as the head; The Red Line obliterated from existence under the might of an ancient weapon. The destruction of the Red Line interferes with the ocean current of the calm belt, enabling merchant ships direct access with the Grand Line. The Four Blues finally connect due to the destruction of calm belt and Red Line. The world is connected, economy improves; The Navy reorganizes what remains of its force, vowing to maintain the stability of the world; Shichibukai, unstable from the beginning, quietly dissolves. All living members, including Crocodile, simply vanish from the eyes of the world. Some say they simply retired after the end of Age of Pirates, some say that some members still lurk in the shadow...plotting; The Yonkous, like wise, dissolve into small bands of pirates. The bands continued minor pirating activities throughout the world, but never cause significant harm. The Four emperors stayed in Raftel, shielding the island's secrets-the secrets of the Lost Century Ancients-from the eyes of the world as their eternal guardians. It was said that Red Haired Shanks can be occasionally spotted outside of Raftel, usually in a bar, drinking and laughing with five other people, notably one with a funky red nose and another with a giant black sword.

The Straw Hats separate, each headed back to their respective homeland. Brook and Luffy sailed back to the start of all and greeted Laboon. Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Usopp parted ways in the East Blue, headed back to their respective loved ones. Franky, Chopper, Robin and all other Straw Hats remained in the Grand Line.

Time skip... 5 years later....

East Blue, unknown Island

A bartender of a small bar lazily sat on his chair, inattentively listened to the radio. It seems that the World War is still raging strong, with a faction called the Revolutionary winning…or something as such the bartender hazily told himself in the back of his mind. Sleep would be a welcoming thing in this hot afternoon. Even the slam of his bar doors did not catch his attention. Too many times the doors opened and shut due to a minor flick of wind, it deserves not of the sleepy man’s attention.

“Rum, the best you got, be fast about it,” boomed a voice. The bartender is sleepy, but he needs to earn a living.

“Of course! Right away!” replied the bartender as he scanned the customer for assurance that this man can indeed pay for good rum. Three powerful katanas and their richly decorated sheaths came into his view - a statement of this man’s wealth. All doubts vanished from the bartender’s mind. This man can pay, no doubt.

Three full barrels of rum vanished in 5 minutes, all washed down one man’s stomach. The bartender gasped with his jaw on the floor in awe of this man’s appetite. Disturbed by his demanding customer, the bartender is even more disturbed by the fact that more and more people are entering his bar, chatting about strange topics…something about plans for new adventure or something.

12 people in total, the bartender counted. That’s a lot of business, he may have to order some food from other restaurants to keep this bunch satisfied. As he prepares the food barrels, he noted in amusement that the alcoholic swordsman is arguing with a male blonde of similar build while the 10 other people seem to be ignoring the arguing pair with evident familiarity of their displayed behavior. In spite of himself, the bartender cracked a smile at this scene.

A strong gush of wind blew through the door, slamming the doors once more. The bartender silently reminded himself to get the doors fixed. To his surprise when he glanced down, a red ribbon straw hat lay close to his feet.

“Oh, sorry about that. That’s mine.” a smiling man of handsome facial features in his 20s suddenly appear in front of the bartender in the blink of an eye, scaring the wits out of the poor bartender.

“By the way, do you have any meat?”

There are things in the world that are better left untouched. The forbidden history is the secret that the four emperor shall protect for eternity(yes, eternity). The Elder Five Stars perished due to that knowledge. It is better for the world, if certain knowledges are left unknown and words unspoken. The truth behind the Poneglyphs and the blank century will NOT be known to the world and I have no reason to write a detailed description of it in my version of finale.

I edited the post anyway to include a minor statement...see if you can find it.

But Luffy would never allow the dream of any of his crewmates to go unfulfilled, unless Nico Robin waives it for a similar reason you mentioned.

anyways this is pretty good, kinda like how POTC3 was adverticed to be.

Robin's dream was to uncover the true history and learn of its secrets. It is her dream to finish what her people started. She never stated that she desires to broadcast the truth of the Blank Century throughout the world. I left sufficient indications that the Straw Hats did indeed arrive at Raftel and that the island contains the secrets of the Blank Century. Robin's dream was fulfilled. I assure you. However it was later decided by the victors of the war that the secrets will never be revealed to the world.

Luffy, Zoro and Brook's dreams have been fulfilled as my finale indicates. As for Chopper and Nami's dreams, they have realized that they need a life time of work and wisdom in order to accomplish theirs. Usopp gradually becomes a brave warrior of the sea owing to experience. Franky's dream was already fulfilled. As for Sanji...well, let's just say he found his All Blue, only to replace his former dream with a more practical one...like finding himself a girlfriend - a dream that the remaining Straw Hats are unwilling to cooperate with. As for the remaining straw hats outside of the present 9...I will leave that to your imagination.

Which is exactly what the scholars were trying to do?

The secrets regarding the goverments origins? Why the heck would the emperors do the same thing as the government, let alone HELP them keep thier dark history under the rug?

Your dismissing one of the biggest sub-plots in the series rather poorly here.

The scholars tried to uncover history, like any historians would. If you read One Piece chapter 475, aren't you curious about One Piece chapter 476?

What? I have to write the entire One Piece in place of Oda? Let your imagination and logic produce the reasoning why the Emperors are willingly guarding Raftel. I assure you, there is "something" in Raftel that is sufficient to convince the pirate Emperors to stay behind. Find your clue here: "The Four emperors stayed in Raftel, shielding the island's secrets from the eyes of the world as their eternal guardians."

The Elder Five perished, the World Government dissolves. There is no longer a purpose in releasing the dark history of the World Government, so most thought. Apparently Dragon disagreed and he used the Lost History to provoke a war-something the victors of the final battle tried to avoid. I left lots of questions in my finale because a good mangaka always leave their readers unsatisfied in order to keep their attention. So when the mangaka creates a new series, they will still have their old fans' unconditioned attention.

Maybe you missed how they kept insisting "the past belongs to all mankind"?

If your intention is to fill out the series end going off what weve seen so far, than yhea you kind of need to address the Poneglyphs.

Whoa whoa, what?
You leave people "unsatisfied" within a story. Its called suspense.
Leaving something completely uncovered for no reason but to frustrate the reader is a combination of lazy writing, abuse of power, and cheap ploys.
A mystery is meant to be uncovered.

Some history were meant to be buried. If the scholars truly realize the horror of the truth, the reason why the government buried the history, they would not release its information. For example, we do not know the history of the bible and its origin, however that is actually better for the world. Better leave the possibility that it fell down from the heaven open than otherwise.

Unfortunately my duty ends at the point where I finish describing what HAPPENS at the end of One Piece. The aftermath and such. My finale states that the secret of the lost history shall be eternally guarded by the Four Emperors (one of the Secrets of Raftel grants mortals immortality, a temping power that is more precious than any jewelry. However the power is only possible if the hosts stay within the island's vicinity -a clue regarding the true nature of the seemly immortal Elder Stars...). I have no reason to describe what's actually on the Rio Poly nor the details of the Lost Century.

I really have no idea what happened in the Lost Century.

Perhaps "unsatisfied" was an inaccurate choice of wording. Perhaps..."desiring for more" would be more appropriate. A good mangaka(a profession that I do not profess in) would leave the readers desire for more chapters, not necessarily "unsatisfied".
