I'm pretty bored, and want some help finding a new manga, or anime to watch. I've tried looking through Manga threads, and randomly trying different things, but to no success. So, I thought if I listed some series I've enjoyed, someone here might be able to point me towards something I might like? I like non-repetitive things for one (even though I read all of DeathNote, which is the most repetetive/boring thing ever).

Hmmm, lets see... so far I've either watched or read...

M = Manga, A = Anime

Dragonball Z (M/A)
Trigun (M/A)
Cowboy Bebop (A)
Kenshin (A)
Naruto (M/A)
Bleach (M/A)
FullMetal Alchemist (A)

They're a couple others I can't think of at the moment :|

Anyways, if you guys could help me find something intresting I would be greatly appreciative. As I am super bored.

If you are super bored I would recommend Hajime no Ippo, One Piece, Fairy Tail, 666 satan to watch or read. Samurai Champloo was directed by the same person who did Cowboy Bebop and is also a good short series 26 episodes.

Hajime no Ippo has a 76 episode series, with an OVA and a movie. From there you can continue reading the manga from chapter 310 onwards. Its a shounen boxing manga, which has good characters, such as Takamura with good personalities and backgrounds. The fights are pretty good too, with the preparation that goes in to them is quite in depth, such as the weight management and some technical aspects.

If you've seen Naruto and Bleach you ought to watch the other shounen mega manga. Some people are put off by the art, but since you've seen Dragonball you ought to be quite alright with it. Its about pirates searching for One Piece, with well developed story arcs (which might be too long in some), good fights, comedy and characters.

Fairy Tail is about wizards. Can't really explain it too much since I've only just started it, but the art is similar to One Piece. You can search for it on Wikipedia along with the other titles.

666 Satan is done by the Naruto creator's brother. I've started reading this as well and seems to be promising.

Hikaru No Go is also pretty good as well. It's not really action but there is interesting character development and interactions.

For other anime you should look at some of the threads in this section:

There are lots of good series that you can watch, its just a matter of taste really.
- Code Geass
- Ghost in the Shell
- Gundam
- TTLG
etc.

Edit: I forgot about HunterxHunter. Check that out as well, its from the same guy that did YuYu Hakusho.

I definitely recommend the manga Blade of the Immortal by Hiroaki Samura! :3
