we still have two months for 2008,and i want to divide this thread into three
parts:
1-what anime is confirmid for 2008
2-what do you expect to see in 2008
3-what is the anime you wish to see and its near impossible to see next year
for me:
1-i dont know:)
2-fairytail,666satan,mxo,muyho,20centryboys,to-love-ru,rosario-
vampire,mr.fullswing,schoolrumble3.
3-Ippo2,captaintsubasa golden23.

1. Hmm... I'm not sure whats confirmed for 2008.
2. For 2008 I really wanna see the 666 Satan anime adaption. Its been confirmed for a long time but theres no news regarding its release date. Haruhi season 2 would be nice. I dunno when thats gonna air. I haven't been up to date with Haruhi news.
3. Some time in the near future I wanna see a Lucky Star season 2 and some kind of Gurren Lagann material. Preferably an OVA of some sort.

3). School Rumble 3, Code Geass 2, Mai Otome material, Black Lagoon 3, Berserk 2 (LOL), Yatterman, Zeta Gundam remake, Char's Deleted Affair: Portrait of a Young Comet, Mai Hime material, Some sort of show that reminds me of Noir, Haruhi 2.

What I expect for 2008: New seasons for Code Geass and Full Metal Panic!
What anime is confirmed for 2008: The second half of Gundam 00.
2008 could be a mecha fan's delight. :nod

Are you crazy? I love lucky star as much as the next, but there would never be any possible way for it to have a season two. Didn't you watch the show?

Oh yeah, I'd also LOVE to see an Elfen Lied remake that follows the manga exactly. The anime we had was great, but it had a filler ending halfway through the series...
I'd also like to see an Ikki Tousen season 3. The ending of Dragon Destiny (season 2) left it open so the story could continue.

More Black Lagoon (doubtful) and Darker than black (apparently there's a DTB OVA on the way), 666Satan (preferably the entire pre-timeskip section) and Kakashi Gaiden to finally be animated

I am hoping for maybe some type of annoucement of a Wrap-Up OVA or Movie for Eureka Seven, to see what happens afterwards and where people ended up.
Also the continuation of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu when possible.

I know there's a two-episode special around xmas this year, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD i hope there's a third season of Aa Megami-Sama! (a.k.a Ah! My goddess!)

I'd love a second season for Lucky Star just as much as any other although for whatever reason don't see it happening. I eagerly anticipate The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's second season, which I am expecting for 2008 due to Clannad.

Add Otoboku 2 to my list. I would like to see how that series resolves itself.
Ikkitousen isn't a bad idea, but I would want to see Hakufu become a secondary character. I am tired of seeing her.

1 - Gunslinger Girl season 2? (spring 2008 was the last I heard but haven't been following it to know if anythings changed or if it was even real).
2 - Is Kiddy Grade 2 planned for this year or sometime next year?
3 - I don't know if there is even an small chance most of these will ever get another season.

lol, I second this. Studio Perriot should burn to the ground and all of their franchises should go to better more serious studios.

I'm not really thrilled about a second SuzuHaru season. As I said, I'd rather have KyoAni do another season of FMP first.

I'd like Marimite 4, Rozen Maiden 3, Otoboku 2, Haruhi 2, Code Geass 2, Black Lagoon 3, Gurren-Lagann 2. Most likely sequels or new season for those awesome series.

Unless some really good studio picks Berserk up, there's no way the anime could live up to the quality of the manga.

more like, the FF7 of the whole suikoden series. you should play it :wink
plus, you'd understand most characters in siii if you play si and sii.
Isnt the manga finished for Black Lagoon?I dun think so... i DL'd last month's chapter and it didnt look anywhere near ending. but im not sure.
