Band of Seven basically can't be killed as long as they still have shards of the Shikon Jewel in their bodies, so they take this in my opinion.

Band of seven win this because the sound five don't know how to kill them and Bonkotsu was full of win being the best Inuyasha villain and no one say the sound five where much faster only Kimimaru showed good speed the rest sucked and got owned by a bunch of Genin and a noob chunin despite the fact the curse seal makes them 10x stronger when activated at level 2. The sound 5 where terribly incompetent they only got as far as they did because all the decent ninja in konoha where out on missions at the time and even then they lost 3 off there members I give them credit for beating that Jonin team but that was only because they serprized them with the seals. It took a terminally ill and hospitalised Kimimaru (the only member who was competent) to get the job done and he is not saving them from the band of seven unless he is in top health.

That's just one of the reasons the sound five will be to busy trying there fancy crap and being cocky while that happens Bonkotsu will kill them with the grate attack called over sized halberd slash. Seriously only Kimi has a chance to beat any off them (he will own the lower tier ones) and he is terminally ill so he can only last so long and even then the band of seven are near impossible to kill with out knowing how to.

I'm going to go with the Band of Seven on this one. Most of the members really are very powerful not to mention this is 7 vs. 5 so they have 2 extra people.

Kyokotsu: He is a giant, and has nothing more than him than absolute brute strength. At his maximum, he was roughly 15 metres tall, and he's also heavily muscled and wields a huge spiked iron ball with a chain that he swings around powerfully. He can easily punch craters into the ground, or break boulders with ease. The only way to kill him is to forcefully remove the shikon shard from his forehead as he is already dead, or to cut him apart and remove his body parts from one another.

Jakotsu: He is a well-trained fighter whose body is at the peak of human fitness. Thus, while he is not outstanding in speed, strength or agility, he still possess a healthy arsenal of them. He wields a powerful sword which can extend and slice enemies with great speed. His best feat was to nearly instantaneously kill over twenty gunmen in a single slash, even though they had surrounded him from all sides. Only way to kill Jakotsu is to either heavily damage his body, or to remove the shard from his neck.

Mukotsu: His body is weak, and he's rather slow. However, he has a huge arsenal of deadly poison that can melt through even youkai. Whether or not you breath in his poison doesn't matter, you can still going to die as it can enter through your eyes and ears. Other poisons have an acidic effect which melts on touch. He is immune to the poison.

Suikotsu: Similar to Jakotsu, his body is at the peak of human fitness. He uses a pair of metal claws, and is apparently very highly skilled as he defeated Inuyasha in a melee fight(without sword) despite the latter's superior youkai abilities. He is also extremely fast, as seen by how he dodged Jaken's flamethrower at point blank. More to him however, is his feral instinct not unlike Wolverine, where he charges the enemy like a beast and slice 'em up.

Ginkotsu: His body is a huge artillery tank, and he literally has hundreds of missiles and explosives, dozens of powerful guns, multiple cannons, is extremely heavily armored, and a deadly self-destruct bomb that devastated everything for over a hundred metres. His weakness is that if an enemy were to get into melee range, he has no counters except to self-destruct.

Renkotsu: He apparently is also at human peak fitness, but not anywhere near Jakotsu or Suikotsu. However, he is deadlier than them due to his enormous arsenal of weapons which includes flaming whips he release with his fingers, gattling guns, artillery, cannons, machine guns, rocket launchers, bombs and flamethrowers.

Bankotsu: The leader of them all. He has beyond human strength, seeing how he wields his weapon Banryu and swings it around with a single hand as if it were weighless, though that weapon took 3 very strong men to merely lift. Bankotsu also possesses a deadly combination of skills, speed, endurance and power, and is stated and achknowledged to be the strongest of the seven. He can release devastating energy attacks on par with Kaze no Kizu(which can kill 100 youkais in a hit), match Inuyasha for physical strength, and is deadly enough for Naraku to immediately consider reviving him when looking for suitable human "allies". Even when badly outnumbered, he slain 999 men before his death.

Hard to decide, but isn't Bankotsu's Banryu with jewel shards too strong and capable of making attacks almost as strong as Kaze no Kizu? I think the Band of Seven takes this because of Bankotsu.
