The Naruto Forums "Ore o dare da to omotteyagaru?!" Project

Now as far as I see it, throughout the past few months, this forum has developed it's own hot-blooded sub-community of Gurren Lagann fans, our own Team Dai-Gurren, as it were...all bound by this most epic of anime.

Now, with the release of Gurren Lagann Best Sound, and word of a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann OVA (and Shisen Genshikou?) still nothing but that...words, one has to wonder if the buzz will fade and this Team Dai-Gurren will slowly diminish once the Featured Anime of the Month changes.

Will something better come along? Perhaps. But I, for one, think a series this awesome is too rare an occurrence to be forgotten.

But, I feel we do need something unifying that'll keep us bound to this series in spirit, something that...even if our interests move elsewhere in time, we can look back on it with a smile, or perhaps even manly tears.

And what's the most unifying line in all of Gurren Lagann?

"Who the hell do you think I am?!"

What I propose is this: The Naruto Forums "Ore o dare da to omotteyagaru?!" Project. All Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann fans here that have a microphone (regardless of how crude it is) record themselves shouting the line "Ore o dare da to omotteyagaru?!", so that we can create a compendium made entirely of Spiral energy and win. Perhaps even, when all is said and done, someone with the appropriate software can overlap all the recordings, so we have one unifying scream of hot-bloodedness.
