Why is he acting like the boss?! I've just seen episode 17 and don't like where Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is going.

And they destroyed all the Gunmen? What the fuck?!:mad Have stupid little Rossiu who lived underground and worshipped a Gunman gone crazy with power? And where's the Great Gurren Brigade?

And even Kittan have no Gunman anymore? He was cool, and knew that Simon was the leader. That's how it's supposed to be. But what have happened with the rest of the Black Siblings? It's like Rossiu have taken away their personality.

I really dislike Rossiu at this point. I've accepted that Kamina is dead, but if this continue, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann isn't really all that. Even Yoko left. I hope she returns, TTGL won't be the same without her(why all the cool characters disappears is beyond me). I'm going watch episode 18 now, but this was really a big letdown. Hopefully Simon shows who's the leader.

Lucky Star is more overrated. It's only liked because of the loli's. At least TTGL is liked for the action, story, and characters.

there are not lies and there are not trues. I watched lucky star and I liked it, but I was not waiting for the show with anticipation every week. they are two completely genre and hard to compare. Just look at how many post the Lucky star thread has and this thread has. It is not a matter of one show being better than the other but which one has the most fans. Are the people that think lucky star is better mistaken? No, they are not, that is their preference.

Rossiu becoming a big fat dick was one of the reasons I started to very much like TTGL and thinking its an epic. He was setting things up in a way that he would make Simon to pwn so much more. Putting him in prison to be executed, "saving" some of the humans, while leaving others to die only to be cornered by the enemy and then get his ass saved by the man he condemned to death(albeit with begrudgingly condemned to death).
