What I mean is Viral is a high class regenarator, but I don't think he would survive being blown apart into individual tiny bits like Wolverine can (if I remember correctly Wolverine has regenerated from a drop of blood). Furthermore, he has no adamantium skeleton to keep him from being blown into bits too tiny to regenerate from.

No, he would not survive a planet busting punch, or a supernova psi attack.
