So, TTGL fans, have you ever referenced TTGL in your daily life? Was it in front of people who had absolutely no idea what you were talking about?

I'm a senior in high school. About a month ago I was in wood shop class and I was working with a drill on my woods project. I suddenly found myself lifting the drill into the air and shouting "with my drill I will pierce the heavens!"

Currently I'm typing an essay for English class about a novel, essay, movie, or song that influenced my life. Guess what mine will be about. :awesome

I've managed to work in a few of the quotes into my normal conversations, especially "Who the hell do you think I am?!"

:lmao :lmao :lmao

You represent the Brigade well.

The only thing I've done is...

Well I work at Subway when I'm not in school and we get shipments of chips in big cardboard boxes. Then whenever we need to open a new box, we cut some cool design into it and grab the chips out.

My cutouts have been Kamina glasses and the brigade logo :sag

No one thought they were that great except me :cry

I've been saying "who the fuck do you think I am" long before TTGL.

lol, nerds.

Of course not. I enjoy occasionally having dates. Referencing anime wouldn't be a good idea if I intend to keep occasionally having dates.

Not really. I've been saying "who the hell do you think I am?!" more now, but that's pretty much it.

But I do remind myself of some of the ideals the brigade preached.

Like some other people said, I've been using the "Who the hell do you think I am" quote more often..but I've yet to say anything with piercing heavens or using drills lol.

A lot of the things said in TTGl can be said without sounding geeky or dorky. Hec, most people wouldn't even suspect it came from an anime.

I've done it before. On several occasions in fact.

I told a few people "Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me who believes in you"

:hehee

The result was outright laughter for many minutes.

lol, I need to say that line.

Also, I don't care about being a nerd. Its apparent I'm an anime freak as soon as someone walks into my room (wallscrolls, figurines, plushies, DVDs, manga/tankoban, and a suped-up computer with multiple drives). No need for me to be ashamed of what I enjoy. Infact, most friends and girlfriends I've had over don't even care.

This has to be the best one so far. *reps*

On topic: "Who the hell do you think we are?" has become my catch phrase at work now.

Not daily, but once I was doing homework and was sick of writing for an hour straight so I wrote "ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER" over it in big letters.

My current final art project for college has the brigade logo as its centerpiece.

I made a friend feel better by giving her Kamina's "Dont believe in yourself, believe in me who believes in you!"

I shout "Who the hell do you think I am!" at friends.

I wrote "ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER" on the whiteboard and someone drew Kamina glasses next to it. I'm still trying to find that person.
