ali in ring(bruce was a no holds barred streetfighter not a competeion rules guy, plus bruce couldn't be allowed to grabb or kick or fight dirty i ring/hit to throat/stop kick/groin attacks/grappling/arm breaks/eye gouge/powerkicks/hit belowwaist like to knees/shins/etc.),
bruce in octagon(for too many reasons), bruce in street.(for too many reasons),
Oh and before he died bruce was gravitating towards ground fighting too, so he had some ground game.
for all the haters out there.

Bruce Lee's body is the closest thing we have come to a perfect body.
And this has been scientifically proven. :nod

In a boxing fight, and no time for Bruce to learn Boxing, Ali would win.
He loses in the other setups.

Ali would stomp in the ring.
Ali would stomp in the octagon.
Ali would stomp in the streets.
Bruce Lee would get his ass whooped. The only way Bruce could win is if Ali was falling of a cliff.

Round 1
Ali - Duh
Round 2
Ali - Duh again.
REASON: Ali with 4 ounce gloves. He has a HUGE weight advantage. He has a HUGE reach advantage. All he has to do is tag Bruce once, and with Ali's skill, that won't be too difficult. Whats Bruce gonna do? His linear super jump kick? Stay on the outside and throw leg kicks at a HW who will just eat one and throw a straight at Bruce while he's compromising his balance with said kick? Please. I swear, most of the people here have never in their life competed in full contact sports.
Round 3
Bruce - He can run and grab a weapon. Otherwise, Ali wins again.

Bruce in a fight with no rules. He can just go for the knees. Done.

Bruce in a fight with no rules. He can just go for the knees. Done.So Lee is supposed to grab, to bring Ali at a low enough level, and overpower someone with 70+ lbs on him?

Bruce Lee's body is the closest thing we have come to a perfect body.Since when does a "perfect body" = superior ability in open combat?

Only for his body type. Low Body Fat =/= Good Body

He was actually born sickly.
His low body fat throughout his life was caused mainly by that, IIRC.

He means kick his knees, not knee him.

dude, you crack me up.
You actually think a 70 pouncd weight advantage is enouigh for ali(who isn't known for his strength and in fact was often referred to by many he fought as having a light power punch for a heavyweight.) to overpower bruce.
Dude, bruce lee did fucking pushups with 250 pounds on his back, he did straight arm holdouts with 125 pound barbel in his arm for several seconds.(ali couldn't compared in brute strength). Bruce lee even caved in steel helmet in sparring with his fist.
Dude, bruce lee would beast on ali if he ever grabbed him.
One punch from bruce would be enough to k.o. ali.(without boxing gloves on)
You clearly are still looking at the whole big guy beats little guy thing and giving ali instan-win again.
dude, there are plenty of cases were smaller man is stronger than the bigger man, this is one of those cases.
bruce lee would manhandle ali. Point Blank!
And why does everybody assume bruce would throw head kicks at him.
You know nothing of the man, he often spoke against throwing kicks above the waist unless your opponenet was either cuaght off guard or stunned, bruce's speed makes this easy, and yet, I still doubt he woulr attaempt a head kick.

He means kick his knees, not knee him.Ah, then that's a different story.
dude, you crack me up.
You actually think a 70 pouncd weight advantage is enouigh for ali(who isn't known for his strength and in fact was often referred to by many he fought as having a light power punch for a heavyweight.) to overpower bruce.I never made any mention of punching power in my post, but if you want to go that route....
Ali may have had light punching power for a heavyweight... but that's for a heavyweight.
Lee was a featherweight at best.
Dude, bruce lee did fucking pushups with 250 pounds on his back, he did straight arm holdouts with 125 pound barbel in his arm for several seconds.(ali couldn't compared in brute strength). Bruce lee even caved in steel helmet in sparring with his fist.Have any factual evidence of this?
Bruce Lee worshipers are notorious for blowing up his feats and making unsubstantiated claims about his abilities.
Dude, bruce lee would beast on ali if he ever grabbed him.
One punch from bruce would be enough to k.o. ali.(without boxing gloves on)You mean the punches he displayed in this video (http://www.maniacworld.com/bruce-lee-kick.html)?
To call that a stretch is an understatement.
You clearly are still looking at the whole big guy beats little guy thing and giving ali instan-win again.
dude, there are plenty of cases were smaller man is stronger than the bigger man, this is one of those cases. When the smaller guy is a master martial artist with years of experience, and the bigger guy is an untrained brute with low pain tolerance? Yes, you'd be correct.
But you're talking about a trained fighter who fought against live opponents as part of his daily routine.
The bigger, stronger, and arguably faster(yes, you read that right) guy wins.

Just to note, Ali’s power is actually quite underrated. This is mainly because of how often he would bounce on his toes (moving around the ring) and pick people apart with speed and combinations. When he really planted his feet and straight out slugged, he packed some serious firepower, which (while being nothing like Tyson or Foreman level, of course) was still highly respectable, and above average. His right straight in particular was beautiful. Most people point out the fact that Ali never managed to knock out Joe Frazier, even over three fights, but to be honest, Frazier hated Ali with such a passion that even when he was wobbled or hit in succession, he would do absolutely everything he could -- and then some -- to stay on his feet, letting willpower fill in for his chin durability. In fact, mental toughness is one of the keys to having a good 'chin', at least in my opinion.
This is true. Lee often advocated going to the shin or knee in real fights. However, I really don’t think he could pull this off on a consistent basis against a fighter like Ali, who (above all) stressed the importance of being a moving target. Kicks also leave one more vulnerable to a counter than a punch, for the most part, because of the fact that they take longer to finish/recover your balance from.
This is Ali at (what most believe to be) his absolute best. How do you think Lee would handle this --
