I just have a question regarding the Japanese version of Phoenix Wright! As we all know, it's quite the textdriven game... Kinda hard if you don't know japanese too well. I can read all non-kanji (plus a few kanji) but not understand everything, lol
Does it have language selection so that you can play it in english? i think I read something like that somewhere.
The game is Phoenix Wright 3. I know that the fourth one (Paul Justice?) won't have it, but what about the third?

Go ahead and import it. The Japanese version of Phoenix Wright 3 supports both Japanese and English. Brilliant game, just like the previous ones.

it might be worth it to wait though, the third one is already up for reservation at gamecrazy so it cant be too long to wait and you'd save money getting it here instead of importing it.

Yeah, seeing that the game's being released at the end of this month you might want to wait.
I got the Japanese version when it came out a couple of months ago :amuse

Oh, thanks.
But they don't talk in the game, right?
I.e. English text + japanese speech.
I guess it's only english text... right?
Why do they remove the japanese text when it comes out in america, anyway?
I don't live in america, so I have to import it anyway. The question is wait for the US version or get the japanese. :P

Well, there aren't any talking in the game at all. Except for the occasional "Hold it!" and "Objection!". You can choose between English text + English voice or Japanese text + Japanese voice.
The US version of Phoenix Wright 3 is essentially the same as the English version included in the Japanese game.
Phoenix wright 3 is awsome

I don't understand why the other versions omit the Japanese option though but oh well.
BTW, if you preordered on Capcom's site or at GameStop/EB, you got a free Phoenix plushie too!

Justice for All had quite an amount of typos and those weren't fixed for the North American release. I sure hope they'll do it for this game.
I don't see why they'd keep the Japanese option for releases outside of Japan.
The site takes forever to load. *wants to see the Phoenix plushie*

Lol, that plushie looks awesome!
I think I'll wait for the game to get released in US then. I noticed a few typos in JFA as well. Can't wait. Will be importing Zelda PH and PW TaT this fall then.
