Any artist that actually doesn’t sing. Meaning they feel they are so bad at singing that they wont sing live and have to lip-sync. I will respect anyone who will sing live no matter how much it may sound displeasing, at least its them singing. This industry is going down so much by people being able to have a singing career who are only able to perform with their voice altered by computers. You should be heard for how you truly sound and should climb the ladder of success that way, and if you way of singing is not wanted then you don’t climb that ladder. Frankly, anyone who can sing in key and does proper melodies I can usually get used to. I wasn't a fan of James LaBrie from Dream Theater or Cedric from TMV, or Claudio from Coheed and Cambria when I first heard them, but I eventually got used to them (I realised that Cedric kicked fucking ass). Except LaBrie sucks live. I don't blame him though, he did have vocal surgery, its not his fault for vomiting and blowing them out.

They're no Myles Kennedy or Brandon Boyd but they still do shit that very few people could, even if its only in the studio.

I pretty much can't stand any screaming or that low growling shit except for the dude from the Refused and Pantera guy (if you can call that screaming). So many metal bands have been ruined for me because they scream instead of singing...
