Appreciation to TTGL series

I don't know if this is considered stupid or what, but I would like to say 'Thanks' to the series of "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" and Gainax.

Yes, I know that many of you feel displeased and angry about the ending, but overall, this is one of the best anime series ever created, at least in my opinion. It has a fast and changing plot, adding some extra pieces to it in every episode. Its cast is enriched with a will to fight for their future and to "pierce the heavens". This "will" would influence other characters, and substantially, changing the entire environment around them. Had not for this "will" to exist, what would become of this series?

And so, I would like to give my appreciation to Gainax for animating this series, it really changed me quite a bit. In addition to that, my favoritism for mecha anime has increased significantly. (I am going to try Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and probably Neon Genesis Evangelion.)

I may not hold TTGL in high of regard as alot of other people on the forum do, but I cannot deny that it was solid anime that kept me tuning in every week.

I watched Fooly Cooly and NGE and I would say that TTGL was my favorite of the three. Now it is time to go and watch Code Geass and some of their older works.
